Oh boy... do you really want to know what I have been buying?!?! *hides head in hands*
Pic of my cowgirl first
So... let me put it into some words exactly what I've been getting. Feel free to shoot me.
1. Nike Air trainers - £25
2. Adidas running trainers - £13.99
3. Assorted make up, lotions & creams - £100ish but I feel good, look good, and better yet I am having no awkward reactions!!
4. New work trousers in a smaller size - £35
5. A meal out at Rub Smokehouse in Nottingham (oh boy...) and the Cinema - £70 including travel
6. Food for my diet...... £££££££££££'s - I don't even know how much - so much meat.
7. Mani-pedi gel nails x2 £40.
8. Rook piercing - £25
9. Dumbbells - £4
10. Awesome new t shirt from Zara £12
There is probably much more. This was off the top of my head. However I made £217 on the bay of E in the last few weeks. All told I am *down* about £300. So.. erm.. that's ok right? *runs away*
Me&O 1. my presents arrived and I am gobsmacked and blessed and I love you bunches!!also you are very very naughty *wags finger* - stop being so generous!!
xx
2. Yes I think that 99% of the positives in my life right now are entirely and solely due to my diet change. To list it:
My psoriasis has all but gone
I no longer react to every chemical and paraben in a room including my toothpaste, favourite perfume, make-up, eye cream etc. I won't be going within a country mile of artichokes but my world hs opened up after nearly 3 years!
My back pain is far better - from the weight loss and less strain and because the diet has eradicated all 'systemic inflammation' that I had going on (above point included in this!)
My energy levels have soared - I no longer get hungry and in all honesty some days I struggle to remember to eat
I am burning pure fat, not muscle mass and the body fat calculations have gone from 37% down to 29%
Migraines have gone without the need for most of those dodgy horse tranquillisers
My skin is incredibly clear - I've always been lucky with my skin but now it is on another level:D:D:D:D
Finally... *drum roll*
I can tell you all the *thing* that has been hanging over me like a vast black cloud. For those who read from the start, you've known it all along. But I wasn't prepared to put it down on paper until I had dotted the i's and crossed my heart.
I am finally, after 7 years of waiting, MORTGAGE free. I *owned* a house with my ex, which I left in early 2009, on the proviso that my ex would pay me a set sum of money, and I would leave the house, leave all of the furniture and remain on the mortgage and deeds for a maximum of 2 years. That was a gentlemans agreement and my ex, it turns out, is no gentleman. In fact he is a crying vindictive man-baby who progressively blamed me for all the ills that befell him in his life. He continually threatened to commit suicide, emotionally blackmailed me, quit his steady job and sat at home blaming me. He never missed a mortgage payment and that is the one and only thing I am grateful for. That and the fact that he finally sold the place after it had been sitting empty for 3 years.
So, I no longer own a house. I am no longer financially linked to an emotionally unstable idiot. I am mortgage free for the first time in nearly 11 years. And I am still out of pocket to the tune of £3000 but that is something I accepted many years ago. I AM FREEEEEEEEEEE!!!
"Being hurt only makes you grow
The more you fall, the more you know
When you lose you then try hard to gain
The best lessons are learnt through pain"
Thank you, oh ex of mine. For teaching me to practice patience and kindness even when it is ill-deserved. For pushing me to accept that sometimes life does not go the way we planned, and that in the midst of chaos there is always beauty even if it is only a spirit remaining unbroken. Also screw you and the horse you rode in on. :rotfl:
Love you all. xxxx

Why two trainers? Out of sheer nosiness.0 -
I never compared myself to Dobby Peaty but LMAO!! :rotfl: fits me perfectly!
Trainers... Well I bought the running ones first. The tag for the price was missing, but they were in price order and sat between the £28 and £38 trainers so I sucked it up and took them to pay where they scanned for £13.99 :T. They fit nicely, looked good and were a little sturdier than my last running trainers, which were blissfully comfortable but after 45 miles a week have disintegrated. Then I went to an outlet and the Nike store had these beautiful trainers which I have ogled for years and never wanted to pay the £65+ price tag for. A want not a need. And they were £25. SOLD. Altogether the 2 cost me less than I expected to pay for either pair, and now I can split them out into my everyday and running ones and hopefully they will last longer!
makes sense? Or am I just a trainer dummy? Him doesn't even live with me and yet I have SEVEN pairs of his trainers here. Just the tip of the darn iceberg. He has a serious problem.

I have no idea, to be honest. I thought maybe you had picked them for different uses or for resting them on alternate days. I know very little about trainers and was ... just nosey.0

YAY, what brilliant news about the mortgage freedom! So pleased for you!
Also, Jellytot is an extraordinarily cute cowgirl.
Your diet sounds fantastic. I really need to look into something similar, I'm just so tired of having reactions to foods/creams/other people's perfume and general drudgery of eating badly!0
