    Hi guys

Quick message to say sorry. I've really not been on. I found like a dozen open MSE on my phone browser... I pop on a lot on my phone just to read what people have written but I seem to have gotten into a habit of just mindlessly clicking on it then going off doing something else. So have just caught up... on my own diary!

Thanks for the love and hugs. And Westie for the smile you gave me when you said people should not compare themselves to me :rotfl:

Skinnylatte 10 minutes on a treadmill is something that I WISH I could do. I'm not allowed to run full stop, so in that sense you are kicking my bum! I was never much of a runner, asthma really limited my lung capacity and I was exhausted 200 yards in. So I walk and walk and walk... and now I lift and lift and lift. So many of the people on here inspire me. We are each doing our little bit to make ourselves look and feel better. Collectively, we do a lot :D and motivate each other. Apple pushes me on ever further but I shall never ever ever manage Burpees. She is the Queen ;)

Gretchen I hunted through looking for a YNAB code for you and I just could not for the life of me find anything about the sale. It looks like they did a big Steam sale in early June and YNAB wasn't on there. I've got HUKD and half a dozen steam addicts on the constant look out for it. When I find something worthwhile, I will let you have it. Sorry. I know you're itching to go! I will be looking up your diary as soon as I have 5 minutes! xx Westie, bless you for offering help. I'm looking for the £7.99 YNAB sale! nothing wrong with mine that the box of receipts by the bed won't fix. I've fallen off that wagon big time. Explain that one later.

loopybecs I am loving the nails. Although they are hindering my typing. I had my fingers done when I wouldn't normally, to make me feel better but also because they were all a uniform length and just starting to get to the point where they would et in my way, irritate me, or break. So I got both done. I will have my fingers done again before I go home in August as they grow like wildfire and will need shortening a bit and a new design. I love gels. They are so easy and I don't have to worry about chipping or peeling. My lovely beauty therapist who comes to my house is amazing at what she does :D Maybe I will have ladybirds ;) it cheered me up no end, and still does give me a pick me up. I look a sight doing deadlifts ad bench presses with a bar bell with long and girly orange and black nails :rotfl:

As to why I haven't been around. I can't put my finger on it to be honest. I feel... antsy. It makes it very hard for me to sit down and concentrate. It hasn't affected me at work because I am a human whirlwind trying to keep on top of a gigantic workload across 3 days. No lunch breaks and a new ban on mobiles being out of your drawer all day has curtailed any outside the office activity from 8-5:30.

Jellytot has gone very very backwards in her last week and a half, with toilet training. Countless accidents and a seeming inability to tell what is happening, combined with a screw you attitude that she gets straight from me. It will take her far in life but not against me. I've got 25 years experience on her ;) :rotfl: Anyways, after multiple doctors trips, many urine tests coming back clear and lab cultures coming up empty, it turns out she has a rather nasty case of thrush. Which is what I said a week and a half ago and started treating with canesten. So they have given me some Canesten HC and she's gone back to nursery today armed with that. She seems a lot better but we shall see how she goes. I actually sent her in a nappy today as she will remove it to go, but it eliminates the mountains of washing she brought back daily last week.

What else has happened? The second house had already let. I've added myself to various lists to be told before Rightmove et al, so cross your fingers but we are in no rush. Nothing else even vaguely good has come up.

I've found a new idol in my ketogenic world who has turned my mindset around and pushed me on to a good weight loss this week. I've a whole cupboard stocked with *my* stuff so I can grab inspiration easily, and have learned some new protein/fat shake recipes which are helping me to stick to it, as anyone who is on this diet knows, the cooking takes a lot of effort when you are hungry NOW. The woman is a youtuber who is so ridiculously ripped she looks incredible at the age of 47. She is a firm follower of the circadian rhythm, of eating within 30 minutes of waking, of exercising as early as possible and no later than 2pm so as not to upset said rhythm. If anyone wants to look her up, she is called Stephanie Person. Or Stephanie "The Business" Person on Facebook. She is fab, and totally wacky. And exceptionally knowledgeable.

So between following her, and strength training, and some but not as much walking due to the whole circadian rhythm thing knocking if off kilter, and cooking, and dealing with Jellytot off nursery and very demanding, and mountains of washing and ironing... I've not really been around.

I can't promise to be back much either. I'm getting the urge to get up and go clean something even as I type. I don't know if it is the energy from the diet or anxiety. I've been taking Bach's Rescue Remedy to try and help me sleep but that still isn't great. A little bit better. I do find the Bachs stops me from stressing quite as much though. Blooming expensive except in Savers if you have one. :)

Lots of love and hugs to all. Sorry I am not catching/keeping up. Giving you all huge snuggles and strength and some of this energy :) xxxx

Whoop I brought you back Lilt:rotfl: Great to know you're ok and being a human whirlwind as usual. In fact, even more than usual by the sound of it!

What's this about no lunch breaks??????? Is that something they've done to you at work or do you mean you just aren't taking breaks?????? I hope they haven't just taken the breaks away, but if they are within their legal rights I guess they might do it...:o

Hope the Canesten works well for Tot and that she's soon making great progress with the toilet training again (and your washing machine can have a bit less stress!!)

  • Good to hear from you Lilt, hopefully the ansty feeling settles. There's nothing worse than that restless, uncomfortable energy when everything just feels off.

Steam has YNAB on for £29.99 at the moment, cheaper then the $60 that the website are charging... saying that with the conversion now, and foreign exchange fees it may work out cheaper anyway if you plan to use a debit card as it will be charged in $ if you buy direct from YNAB.
