Hope you're feeling a bit better now Lilty...just been catching up. Love that list, hohum...there's a lot on there that will help me too!

The sleep thing is huge regarding how it impacts on everything else. I've just had 4 good nights' sleep in a row (at my Dad's) :j Feel totally different.

    Back later hun xx

    Hey Lilty,
Popped by to say Hi and read a little way back but not enough.Sorry to hear you have been really down, and hope that whatever it is that has caused it gets sorted sooner rather than later. Don't like it when you are feeling down, you are always so positive and bubbly and super that we know it must be bad when you hide. Sounding chirpier in the last few so fingers crossed.

Will need to come back to look at Hohum's list - am intrigued!

    Lots and love and Hugs

Made the fat bombs - but keep thinking of them as fat balls, which is what you put out for the birdies!! Tweaked the recipe - peanut butter instead of cashew nut - and reduced the amounts. All going well until the 'add any extras you like' bit, where I thought "hmmm, I like mint choc, I'll add some mint flavouring" totally forgetting about the peanut butter... It has improved with chilling...but not much!!

apple... Peanut mint. Interesting! I almost added lemon then realised the same! :D I cannot eat them anything but frozen.

I am not allowed peanuts on my stupid diet. They have big flashing warning signs over them, being higher in carb, additional palm oil (whereas the meridian almond and cashew butters are 100% nut (and twice the price!)) and also having the wrong balance of omega 3/6 fatty acids. The things I've learned about diets in the last 3 months. My colleague said I should be a chemist because of all I know about drugs, supplements and food :rotfl:

hohum I am extremely good at self care for the most part these days. Mainly because I've got the t-shirt on everything ongoing currently and much as it brings me down, I KNOW it is a pause. This too shall pass, and I will be stronger coming out of the other side. I know to take time for myself, stay active and use whatever motivation gets me moving to keep up my momentum. There is no way I am falling flat on my face ever again. I'm going to learn how to turn myself into some sort of human cheerio if ever I feel like I am about to hit the floor, and I will just ROLL back up to upright again. :rotfl:

NOA thanks for popping in lovely. That list is well worth reading. It is a great motivator and very correct in everything it says. Its stuff we all know, but all in one place!

hummingbird I think you will find it very useful indeed! My fitbit says I got 2 and a bit hours sleep last night. That is bad even for me. I am already in wind down mode, about to sit and do some Pilates, grab a shower and get into bed pre 10.

    Lots of love xxx

Bless you Westie my flat is always on the cool side. The sun is on the other side of the building for most of the day! Flats next to me melt, while I sit with a jumper on! Count myself lucky in summer and stock up on hoodies come winter.

Hope you manage to get a bit cooler! Stick your head out of the window. I've heard hanging your tongue out helps too. Or is that dogs? ;) xx

^^ LOL! I'm very fortunate in that my lounge stays nice and cool (very hot in kitchen in afternoons) so at least I have part of the house I can retreat to with a cold drink!
