    Hi... :o

Bless, all these lovely comments. I didn't think about the fact I was outing myself, but bless you all. Yes it is nice to have a face to go with a name isn't it! The few faces I have seen are precious from you lovely bunch on here!

Hummingbird oh I can see it!! But I think the lines around my eyes are more from smiling and laughing constantly for the last 3 years at Jelly than from anything stressful. I'll take that. And the greys in my hair! ;)

Westie £250!!! I'm spending about that on my super special chia seeds and pink himalayan salt and coconut oil and MEAT EGGS MEAT FISH MEAT GREENS MEAT EGGS. :rotfl: - it sounds like a great challenge, so let me know how you get on! If your freezer is anything like mine, there is half a pack of peas, a few onion rings and yorkshire puddings rolling around loose in the drawers :o not so good for eating.

I've had a look online at the tens machine. Mine is reusable for up to 2 months (the sticky pads) and has 3 settings, plus 2 wires/4 pads to allow it to treat 2 places at once. There are others but the spares are cheap from this one and its tried and tested and used by the NHS as a mid-range but easy to use and great for chronic pain because there is no timer.

Gretchen yes - in the next 2 weeks I suspect. I've got my gremlins scouring the internet/HUKD/Steam and the various review websites for any mention of it. I'll let you know as soon as I do!

Today has been.. HOT. Loved it but not so much walking home in 35 degrees after 5pm lugging a rucksack and a full to the brim handbag! Silly Lilty forgets that ordering things online to go to work to keep them safe means carrying them 2 miles :o and three things arrived today! All for Him. Humph.

Work was very stressful, not helped by my boss being barely contactable and leaving me carrying on working as if I knew what I was doing for the entire day! On a side note, at work we have had a new server and amongst the multitude of problems and changes, there is one that is rather telling. We have a system in our emails where if you type the word 'All' it emails everyone and 'Advisers' emails just those *upstairs* folk who give advice/write recommendation letters and just generally do IFA stuff. The higher ups. The words have changed. And this happened whilst I was on holiday. SO boss tested both emails, to 'Everyone' and 'Advisers' - yours truly got both emails. I thought it was an anomaly and would have been fixed, especially as boss was receiving my emails at the time and would have got it. But it turns out, he asked for me to be added. I think it is a bit cheeky really. I'm not a petty person, and whatever they throw at me I have always just got on with. I've never said no, or that I couldn't do something despite not having the qualifications. But now I've basically taken over from a colleague who left and they've actually replaced him with me in their heads! And I'm not him and have not had the half a dozen exams he has! I know I am capable, but that is besides the point. Recognise me and further my career, or don't and stop using me as a workhorse!

Anyhow. Not much else has happened. Jellytot recovered and went to nursery where she was collected by Daddy and Spider-Man. Nope.. Not joking. Spider-Man. I've pictures of Him's friend in a full on spiderman morph suit pushing her on the swing at the park today. She was very happy. :rotfl:

Oh and my shopping arrived and brought with it a tiny egg sized turnip, which is wrinkled and wizened like one of those shrunken heads. And very comical. I despair that the people who pick and pack shopping at my local supermarket have such little knowledge of vegetables that they cannot tell that this is inedible and not even vaguely what it should be!!

Off to do pump some iron until it hurts, show and get another 2.5 hours sleep before work tomorrow xxx

    Hey lovely lady!!

I hope work is better today. Have they ever discussed paying for you to study & sit exams? Your CV would be even more amazing!! I'm hoping to find someone who is willing to pay for me to do my ACCA as I doubt my current employer will. Your boss obviously knows how hard-working you are, so it's in the company's best interests to keep you happy!! They're being very cheeky. Extra responsibilities should mean extra cash for you :)

Hope you're enjoying the cooler weather. Unless it's not cooler where you are, then I hope it gets cooler soon :o

Lots and lots of love xxxxx

Hiya Lilt :hello: I've been on a wee MSE break, sorry to hear you've been down. I'm a bit the same as a lot going on with work and the overdraft got all out of control again and the debt total has shot back up as a consequence. :(

    Onwards and upwards though. :)

I did laugh at Him's friend dressing up as Spider-Man - I bet Jelly was thrilled. :D

I think my boss might read my diary... :rotfl: - this morning I got in to an email asking me for an update on where I was with work as he has lost track... Then at the end he apologised and said he knew I was very busy and not to think for one minute he wasn't very appreciative... you what mate?!? He then sent a response to a tender I had completed saying he and the lady who was kindly completing my recommendation letter agreed with me on where we should go. And that was all... followed immediately by another email saying 'Thanks very much BTW, sorry!' :rotfl: so either he reads this diary, which is hard to fathom as he can barely read beyond the first line of an email at the best of times.... Or he has realised he might be pushing me a bit by my permanently fixed smile and frazzled crazy eyes :D:D:D

skinnylatte HELLOOOO  - nice to see you!! ;) I have the same thing, I see you everywhere I go. I shall look you up now too, apologies. I get so lost in the diaries I subscribe to I rarely check the actual forums!!

Becs I've had this running conversation with the bosses for years. They think I am wasted as I am, and yet I am so good at managing things and taking over whenever there is a gap in requirements, not to mention 'You never say no to whatever you're given, you just say OK and off you go and do the work, and it's not because you just wing it, you ask questions but you already know the answer and are just second guessing yourself' :rotfl: - you know it's lovely to hear all this at my review, because at the end of the day I just go in and do my job, whatever my job might be that day. And they know that I will do whatever they pay me to do. I get paid very well considering my job title and what prospective employment elsewhere would pay! But everytime the exams are mentioned.. they simply don't know how to fit me in to the area where I would have to go once the exams were done. So instead they just let me do the job without the exams. One of these days, most likely when I go back full time, they will give me the exams. But for now, stressful as it is, and 6:20am texts and all that... I am home more than I work and that is a blessing! So I will take it, get paid a full time wage for 3 days a week and be grateful!! ;)

Westie Spidey was AWESOME. :rotfl: - now daddy is Ironman to boot, so she is super happy. We are raising a Marvel friendly child (No DC here) as we are both a bit mad on Marvel comics. Luckily so is his boss and that is what the ironman suit is for. And the spider suit. They all have to dress up on the 11th as Marvel characters for charity, and sell raffle tickets at his work. I shall go and take copious pics, especially of Electra. You don't even want to know... It is slightly horrifying to see a 6ft something male in a corset with chest hair sticking out of the top, tiny red lycra leggings and red gloves.. Boss lady is captain america!! :D

    So.. Hiiiiiii

Today I finished work at 12:30. Not bad, and not as late as I feared considering my workload this morning. However I got through 90% of it and boss was very happy/slightly surprised.

I walked home (Had done my 12k steps by 3pm today!) and made myself an omelette for lunch. Cheese and fresh basil. Lovely, and very light! Got Jellytot ready and took her to nursery with Him for her parents evening. She's now officially up to her age group in EVRY area and surpassing it in quite a few. She's been ready for school in maths/number work since she was just 2 so thats way up there now :D but she's also writing her name, and they don't even start teaching that until next year! :D

After that we came home, mooched, Him made dinner and I made some cauliflower mash to go with mine. Jellytot refused her dinner point blank and half an hour after Him left for work, she was in bed asleep. At 20 past 5. Not relishing the early morning tomorrow so will try and get myself to bed early tonight!

So far this evening I've started a meal plan for the next 9 days as I am sticking to the diet like glue. Far from looking better I feel like I look puffy and bloated so I am blaming the lack of water and the heat. Trying to up my water intake again. Going to work out until I cry and then go in an epsom salt bath I think. Neighbour isn't around this week so haven't managed a single evening walk between that and the heat!

Nothing much else has happened. Wore a dress to work today. Yikes.. pasty legs. Still I can't use fake tan, won't give myself cancer from the sunbed so the only way to get it better is to get them out there! :D:D

    Big hugs all! xxx

I wore a dress to work yesterday too, Im not a dress person, inless I'm on holiday and no one can see me and people who do I will never see again, but I wasnt looking forward to wearing my full suit to work, especialy with the weather we have been having, so I get dressed and walk out of the door... .to POURING RAIN!!!,

ah well I continued as I was and hoped with my optimism that the sun would make an appearance as I was wearing a dress, must to say its didn't but, I'm not back till Monday....

Off to visit a friend this weekend as I cancelled on her last week as I was invite to LegoLand again with my sister and the nieces, so I said I would visit this weekend...

Due to the DD going out 1st of the month I filled the car up on the 30th so I could try and get through as many SFD as I can in July, which means I should sacrifice spending in the supermarket on food and actually eat from my stocks...

Today I have eaten an omelette and salad, and the rest of the strawberries and cream....

3rd of July and I have managed not to spend a penny yay go me :0)

Made more fat bombs. Ground up some cashews this time, no sweetener, no added other bits. Dd tried the last lot and despite not being overly impressed, was willing to try my new batch. We may just have got her he last sticker required on her chart so that she can have her reward!! Thank you Lilty!
