She's the flyer for her little team, but nowt too high yet. We saw some 'proper', competition-entering big girls. Wowzer! Awesome! The flyer gets watched but seeing it so close up, the support girls have to be so strong and steady - no room for a loss-of-concentration-oopsie moment!

Tens machines, I have been told in the past that they are good but haven't tried one. What do they actually do?
:rotfl::rotfl: I need to join in on jiggle free july me thinks. But maybe not the hulahoop, coordination does not reside here.
Hahaha!! I was secretly wondering if you were my little sisterbut if you don't recognise me then I am guessing not!!
:D:D
Tens machine... think of it like a slendertone for pain. It has 4 little electrode pads, which covers 2 areas completely separate to each other. 2 pads have to go in an area, on top of the pain, no more than the size of a saucer. The other 2 can go elsewhere if necessary, but again they should both fit within an area of saucer size. So for me I have 2 at the bottom of my back and 2 on my hip. It has 2 little dials (some are digital, mine are just buttons you spin round from 0-10. As you increase the numbers (slowly) it starts to pulse an electric charge through the area. Depending on how strong you can handle it (I'm usually 3-5) you can then sit with it on the pain for as long as you like. Chronic pain sufferers say hours! There are 3 settings.. burst, like a sharp vibration, pause, vibration, pause. Then constant which doesn't chang, and finally modulation which goes constantly but increases and decreases in intensity. Think Christmas lights
I find it really helpful. It stops me reaching for painkillers when on my chair too long at work.xx

apple you took 10 hours to put ice on it?!?! Oh dear!! I am still swollen as anything from the hoop. I had such lovely waist definition until last night :rotfl:
Hope your leg gets better soon. I am laughing at the X marking the spot to press. If it is centred in such a small place then that might actually be a muscle tear... Please be careful!
I'm not allowed to warm up with stretches as I am hyper-mobile and they freak at me trying to do Yoga or anything. But I still do the odd bit here and there or I am as stiff s a board and very likely to pull things!!
Hugs! xxx

I gave birth using a tens machine and gas and air. Afterwards I realised I'd only had it on number 5 out of 10!
Think it is a tear, Lilty. And this body doesn't bounce back like it used to. However, I shall soldier on...maybe...if it doesn't get worse... And anyway, they always have ice packs at work and although the kids wouldn't bat an eyelid at me if I wAlked/hobble around with one strapped to my thigh (over my trousers for maximum visual impact, you understand), I reckon my reply to a query as to why/how would be 'doing overhead weighted lunges'. Kudos, eh?
The year 9 boys just nodded sagely at me when I was wearing TWO wrist supports and I said I'd been on dd's scooter and been stopped dead in my tracks by a TWIG that had nearly sent me over the handlebars. One asked me later what make of scooter I had. Ozbozz was not within his field of knowledge...!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I gave birth using everything they had got  :rotfl: - but after 72 utterly sleepless hours, 19 of those in fully fledged labour, I was fed up. The midwife went on her lunch break 10 minutes before I wanted to push so they gave me another shot of epidural and then she came back to a totally numb, desperate to push but falling asleep me. Not good.
I found this today... My very last bump pic, 2 hours into labour!
Am :rotfl: at you, definitely too cool for school. Tears need help Mrs. If it's not feeling much better in 2 weeks, Drs! xxx

Haha bless you Westie I hate it when that happens!!
I just got ready for bed and found a whacking great bruise on my side :rotfl:
Other than that had a perfectly behaved, super polite, excellent little lady dressed as tinkerbell all day. We had fun on the train where she sat on the table across from ours with an older Asian lady who chattered at her the entire journey. They just took to each other. Jelly decamped from my table to hers as soon as she sat down :rotfl:
Other than that I busted up my diet big time today. Hard not to when the only thing on offer I could eat were sausages. So I ate like a pig and enjoyed it a lot. I had cereal for my dinner to make the most of it!! And my tummy has ballooned, on top of the swelling! Not good for you these carbs!!
Oh! I bought myself my remembrance jewellery from my Pop today. It's a bracelet made from sterling silver. My inner science geek (come on it wasn't that hard to guess with all the medical knowledge now was it) is loving it as it is a bracelet with 5 attachable chemical compounds, or their structures should I say. And depending on what mood I want I can switch them up and aim for that! Focus, drive, relaxation, creativity... Mixing molecules to make me think haha! I think he would have loved it and I know it is good quality and something I can pass on. Hopefully along with my thirst for science.
On top of that I booked for gel finger and toe nails to be done. Part of my "fabbing" and not something I do more than once every couple of years but I am treating myself
Oh and I have a house viewing tomorrow!!
Much love. Night night xxx

Morning Lilt, forgive the intrusion, just reading your thread and wanted to wish you all the best for your house viewing, marvelous news! Hope it goes well. PS, you made me chortle with the image of a cannibal pig eating sausages

Now she's off them she's realised she's always been allergic to dairy and gluten (but always ignored it), and the jury is still out on the sugar. I've always thought I've had a sensitivity to bread (though weirdly not pasta/other types of gluten), and recently I've realised (after cutting sliced bread out, though the more artisan type rolls etc seem to be ok) that beer has the same effect. I don't see how I can be allergic to one type of gluten but not another - mum says maybe it's one of the preservatives that go with it? Either way I'm not taking my chances as I can now tell when I've had something! Not sure I could cope if it escalated into full blown gluten intolerance though!
I'm still looking for a penguin advent calendar, I might have to settle with a dairy milk one (unless anyone has spotted one!?)
Hugs on the sensitivity, the remembrance silences always make me cry, which is really embarrassing if you're at work!
I'm now going to have to find out where the nearest lidl is, as that korma sounds ace, and I only know of a local aldi.
PPxI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
