I store up endless amounts of interesting useless information Peaty... only in my more adult years it seems to be more interesting AND useful things I store up :rotfl: eidetic memory or something I guess. Thought not exactly worthy of Sheldon.

She has taken herself off to her bed with my phone. I am not arguing. I was proposing we make a lemon cake.

Omg, your mention of Leeds castle brought back memories of a nightmare journey. Had been working somewhere like Canterbury and was on a train back to London to get to heathrow and a flight home. Fell asleep and woke when the train was stopped in Leeds castle. How was I supposed to know I wasn't in Yorkshire!

Thanks for the information for cider vinegar hair treatment I have given it a go and also seen camomile tea is good for blonde hair so will add this to the next treatment....

Lemon cake in the oven!! I only had half a tub of lemon curd left so squeezed in some lemon juice. No idea how that will turn out... I predict a volcano in my freshly cleaned oven... lemon juice and bi-carb :rotfl:

Peaty don't tempt me. She's got my rubber glove on, and is stood on her chair rubbing it around the empty washing up bowl.. 'I washing UP!'

INOD I genuinely thought Leeds Castle.. was in Leeds! It took me 4 years of living here and a colleague telling me she had been.. I said what a long journey just for a castle.. and she said nah it is only just up the road. And eventually I discovered it is in a little village called Leeds.. in Kent. Sigh.

Lemon cake sounds yummy! And if it overspills lemon is good for cleaning ovens anyway

I'm in the middle of an experiment right now with my hair. I'm trying to give up shampoo as I keep having reactions to chemicals in them. I have tried apple cider vinegar and it's ok but our water is so hard here it's not helped much. The most recent experiment that made my hair super soft & shiny & ungreasy was apple sauce!! I made some from some withering apples in the fruit bowl and popped it in the blender to ensure all lumps were out and popped it on my hair for an hour and Voila!! Super clean and shiny hair I can't wait to move as I will pay for a water softener to go in the new house if we have the same problems with hard water and I will go back to apple cider vinegar
