Sorry ladies I promptly fell asleep last night. Jelly still poorly, so awake since the early hours but with a pounding headache and tummy ache. Hoping I don't come down with it.
Billie - have got your mail so will reply to it shortly
Westie - if you have both the credit card and the card you wish to make the payment from as accounts on your YNAB, then go to the account with your wages in, and click on the button to make a transfer to another account. Select Transfer: Credit Card (whatever you've called it) and then type in the amount of money you've paid into the outgoings and click save. You then have to clear it out of that account, and into the other account by clicking the little C once it has gone from one, and appeared in the other IRL. If you had any interest, you need to go to the CC and add that as a separate payment. Mine is set up as a Payee called 'Interest Charged'. Adding it like this allows you to track your interest, but also keeps the accounts balanced as you would be paying off part of the interest with your payment, so have to account for that otherwise your card balance looks lower.
Hope that helps.I've not watched any youtube videos. I just watched the video on the YNAB site to help you get started. The tutorial.
Anything else, just let me know. x

Can you help me lilty? I'd like to do what you do and have lots of current accounts to get the rewards money for opening them. I can't get my head round how to organise it all with the shifting around?! Could you pm me or post if you ever have time? I'm trying to build up an emergency fund this year for when I go four days a week in September!!
I hope Jelly is feeling better today. Poor pickle, it's not nice being sick!!With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

Course I can Hopeful. It is a bit of a long process at first. Can you PM me what bank account you have open right now, and how many DD's you have in there? I can see if I can figure out where would be best to start
xx
Lucky thanks for popping in chick. Him is REALLY poorly at home. I am glad he isn't here, gives me less chance of catching it but don't want his mum to get it in time for her birthday. Luckily she deals with people in a care home all day and is seriously fanatical about cleaning so she will be doing exactly what I have spent the last hour doing... Walking round rubbing milton on EVERYTHING. :rotfl: Big hugs to you!! xx
Have so far made Jelly two requested meals to add to the dinner she asked for last night.. and she has eaten a mouthful of hoops and a mouthful of toast made with my homemade bread so am a bit gutted she won't eat it bless her lol. I think her tummy must feel like mine. Very sore. I am sticking to coffee this morning.
I've also signed up to do a 5 mile walk around Leeds Castle for breast cancer care with mum in June. I've got to raise £100 before then. Wish me luck!
Going to be a very chilled day today. Hopefully no more drama! xx

Have you got a Just Giving page - would only be fair after all the advice and also a charity close to my heart as lost my mum to it. Are you doing the walk with your mum or mil? Maybe I should sign up to it, I can cope with walking most distances, just wish I could do runs - mind over matter I hear most of you say!!:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

How do we donate for your walk? Let us know and I'll be adding to your pot
Hope you all feel better soon - a real shame to be spending your run of days off like this. R&R on a Sunday afternoon sounds good to me.Back on the DFW Wagon:

CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
I too would like to sponsor you Lilty as the charity has a part of my life too having lost three relatives to cancer let me know if you have a page.

I wasn't trying to drum up donations!! Now I feel both happy and guilty!I do have a justgiving page and I haven't the foggiest what it is :rotfl: I was planning on donating a hefty chunk to it myself with my YB money for my latest switch. I didn't include that £150 in my savings for this month. It is due in shortly!
So that could be on top of the £540 for this month
but it is squeaky tight! Will figure it out!
Welcome for the YNAB advice. I try and clear everything as it happens, and reconcile it once or twice a month with my bank accounts online.
Am going to flip out. Jelly is driving me bonkers being naughty. I should be pleased she is on the mend but she is throwing everything in sight, screaming, and throwing strops repeatedly. Not to mention upturning her entire bedroom in a strop because she couldn't reach something.
Am going to find something for her to do. I've already had to pack the play dough away after she mashed it into.. everything. Including the you view box and the wii u station. :wall:
The things she manages to do while I wash a few pots and accidentally clean the oven...

Why do you know all these tricks lilt?
Is it nice outside for you? You could take her for a run and tucker her out?0
