  • October!!! There you are... Get in there, you are the third girl in our girl on girl epic hug ;) How are you hun? nice to see you!! xx

Shyspender - I did the exact same thing!! I went through the ENTIRE website clicking on all the things I wanted... then reduced them down a bit from say 1kg to 250g or 500g :rotfl: - such an awesome site. And cashback to boot. And you earn points which give you money off next time... :D

Levi ... pure filth. Keep your monkey mitts out of our hug :rotfl:

Me&O did my gibberjabber make any sense at all? :D

Lucky & Ali cushions... dreamy lovely amazing, beautiful quality handmade by someone obviously awesomely talented... cushions... *happysigh* - the kind of cushions you will willingly redecorate a whole room to have :rotfl:

Sorry for my silence last night. I was grumpy. And then I was asleep. Neither of which is conducive to typing on here! grumpiness abounded from irritation at certain people, issues at work (although I left almost on time!) and something I couldn't put my finger on.

Plus side, it was a SFD :) needed one after all my spending.

It is PAYDAY! :j but.. my YB bank card replacement still has not yet arrived. Thought it had but it was a thanks for joining mobile banking letter :( and best of all.. Him lost his ring (Jelly stole it and disappeared it) so he was hunting for it.. and found my old bank card, now cancelled, INSIDE the sofa. Of course. Fat lot of use that was.

Final day of work for another 5 days, cannot wait for 5pm.. or more likely 6pm.

Bad news today from the hospital. Likely to need more surgery. First and last I will mention of that because illness is for wimps. And I am not one.

Finally.. my mum had her 2nd lot of chemo. She is doing ok, not great. My Pop has been rushed back and forth from one hospital to another due to blood sugars of 27, bearing in mind he is diabetic.. and awful pain in his abdomen with ridiculously high blood pressure. All of which went away when the emergency doctors got his blood sugars back down. Nan now needs to come to terms with the fact that social services will not let him come home and he is being taken to a nursing home locally in the next few days as they have a bed and he is an emergency case. Simply put if he stays in the hospital any longer he will never be leaving. They are killing him.

Anyways less doom and gloom. The weather is fabulous and I am very excited to get work finished and my weekend started. Cake baking and play dough all lined up for this weekend along with batch cooking some new dishes to take to work centering on... lentils ;)

    Hugs xxx

Oh Lilty, so sorry you have so much family illness to deal with at the moment. I know how it feels, so if you ever want to talk/rant/sob as someone, just PM me. x

Sounds like we have similar weekends lined up - cakes & playdough on the menu here too, with a bit of potato printing thrown in for good measure if we get round to it. :D

And yes, thanks so much, I'm pretty sure I follow it all. I haven't had time to get back onto YNAB and amend the bits I did wrong yet, but when I do I shall be referring to your posts.
    Thank you xx

Lilty, so sorry you have so much to deal with at the moment, you do so well keeping so upbeat. I hate hospitals, and what you Pop is going through, I really feel strongly about how they treat older people - Will also be hard for your Nan, adjusting to him being in a nursing home. Makes it all the more harder for your mum too, coping with chemo whilst all this is going on. Love and Hugs to you all.
Have a lovely weekend with Jelly. I so miss the art and craft and play doh days.
