Just categories.
The same with any savings I have... The only 'accounts' I have are as follows:
FD 1st Acc (affects budget)
FD Reg Saver (off budget)
Hal Reward (affects budget)
TSB (Affects budget currently but in reality is just savings so I might just switch it to off budget)
Natwide Flex (affects budget) - this account has my pin money in
Yorks Bank (on budget - misc money - some savings.. some emergency fund, savings for Jelly, Xmas etc all get mashed in here)
PURSE (affects budget)
Paypal (affects budget)
Each of the above accounts match identically with the statements from the bank. It shows transfers between them (at first I was doing a payment out rather than into another account.. that was fun!) and any other payments. I schedule all Direct Debits in the scheduled items on the bank account it will come from, even the ones that can be variable amounts as this can change as I approve it each month. I have scheduled the ch benefit, tax credits, my salary etc too. I've even scheduled standing orders due to switch between my accounts on the date they move to cover the various DD's I have from each.
My Rainy Day funds are hilariously long, but they are all categories under my main budget. I choose whether to put in just what is needed for the month i.e. £36 childcare for Feb or whether to add a balance in that I can pick and choose from/increase as I go along.. Jellytot clothes fund for example.
I use the income for a particular month which has come into whichever account specified, and spread it through my budget as needed. Eventually you get to the point where you couldn't care less what is actually IN the bank because you know it all has a job and despite having £640 in the bank, you only have £2.49 left of grocery budget etc so you can't buy that cheesecake.. and so on!!
Hope that makes sense!! xx

Hope the concatenating has gone well and hope I'm not the only one who had to look that up! :rotfl:
I might be the only one not to get on with YNAB thoughstill love my 9 year old budget spreadsheet design in good old Excel.
Don't let watch stopping make you late leaving work. It's those unpredictable spends that b***er up the budget.
What is this lovely thing you ordered that HIM is giving you for Mothers Day? I'd better start dropping heavy hints with DS, though it's sure to be chocs so he can help eat them :rotfl:
