Definitely a bug apple. She had been a bit odd for a couple of nights, and went downhill fast in the afternoon, refused to eat etc. She was sick a few more times overnight and came in a lot to my bed. Eventually just snuggled in with her from 6am until about half 10 with both of us dozing on and off. She has finally perked up and stopped complaining about a sore tummy. She's managed some dry cheerios and a lot of dioralyte without being sick so hopefully the worst is over.
The weather is grim so we are dressed and snug and staying indoors.
Painkiller free day was not so good. Was quite bad by last night but couldn't take the risk of sleeping through sick so didn't take any and didn't sleep much either. Still one day down
Mainlining coffee and making scrambled eggsgood start! xx

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww............
I hate being ill and I hate it when little ones are ill as you tend to feel so helpless. OH has been sick as a dog and I think I am coming down with it now. I tried to give up being ill for lent but obviously that's not going to happen. Blah.
Well done on the no painkiller day. I can only imagine how hard that must be for you. You must be so pleased you achieved it. I hope that even if you do have the other operation things will be better afterwards. I know it is scary but keep strong and remember you aren't going through this alone.
How are your playdough and baking plans going? It sounded like way more fun than work. LOL

Thanks dfw - lovely to see you back even if you're not well.. It isn't a nice feeling when everyone is falling apart!!
Billie I didn't take the slightest bit of offence. I know precisely what you mean. It would be netter if my grandparents both just went. Dementia for one, and end stage kidney disease, heart failure and diabetes raging fairly uncontrolled in the other. It isn't a way anyone should live.
Jelly has been very quiet today. Opting to sit on the sofa while I whirlwind around her. She has just vegged watching TV and videos on my phone. I've cleaned up the resultant mess from a night of sickness. And made yellow play dough, without her as she is tucked up in bed asleep at her own request. Was a long night so i don't blame her.
Making my own bread dough now and then I am done and need to sit down. x

You snuck in october
and I answered your question without even knowing!!
Sorry you and OH both going down again. I am sneezing like a trooper but I have no idea why. Maybe it is all the flour. Anyway my play doh is a gorgeous shade of yellow and just cooling in the fridge
Now for the bread xxx

Don't get bread and DOH mixed up will you. Just been for a manicure and pedicure to get me in shape for my hols in three weeks time!! Have had OH poorly this week so something must be going around! Have family staying for the weekend, but weather is foul so we are tucked up indoors. Xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Ooh Billie that sounds fab!!! Not so much the foul weather but I feel your pain. We are going nowhere. In fact Jellytot is currently sat at the tv unit on the chair from her table and chairs set eating dry cheerios again after asking me for sausages and spaghetti and then not even touching it. I was going with whatever she requested but should have known lol.
Bread is about to hit the oven looking awesome. Play dough has been turned into rabbits and dolphins and rolled and then put back in the fridge for tomorrow.
Have to be honest I can't wait for bedtime... I am shattered. Barely a wink last night between everything. Still got 4 days off work even right nowand one is to be spent baking a cake and things, and another to be spent with MiL and Him celebrating her bday on Weds when I would normally be working. FiL is away with work from the night before till the evening of the day after
we are making it special
SFD today woohoo!!! xx
