Bah. Spended more money. SO worth it..

    j5gfw0.jpg

Oopsie, think that may be my fault :o

Sorry Lilty, but a huuuuuge thank you. They were my favourites too, so really glad they're going to a lovely home :)

They'll be lovingly packaged and on their way to you tomorrow, alongside Levi's parcel :D

    Xx

Sorry for the radio silence from me tonight, I've been trying to explain YNAB to the ex for 3 hours, then messed up majorly and realised I've been doing it wrong all along and I can't figure out why!! My head hurts and I'm off to bed in a strop!

    Night night lovelies xx

  • ANY YNAB help required... PM my. I have spent the night shuffling payments, poking my budget, changing tax credit amounts and setting up new scheduled payments. Through my FIVE in use current accounts. :rotfl: - I'm obsessed and I love it. But it did take some getting used to. And don't ever put a credit card in actual credit by accidentally overpaying. Never seen a hissy fit like it. :rotfl:

I don't get bored of telling people how to work it. I can provide screen shots. I am a walking tutorial. It is very sad... they don't even pay me *sniff*. Actually, thinking about that... they actually pay me a LOT. About £250 of unspent grocery splurges a month for starters..

I am absolutely over the moon with my beautiful purchase this evening. So happy. I am genuinely bubbling like a little kid, even though I am forcing them into the hands of Him to be taken off and wrapped for Mother's Day!! And he has coughed up the moneys for it. So back to being angelic :A again with my lentil purchasing :rotfl:

Have managed to set up my new nationwide account (no perks except travel insurance I don't need, just like keeping one open with them as they were nice!) as a shopping account. So anything, groceries/household/toiletries will come from this card. And this card only. And if I overspend I will be in big trouble because I deliberately asked for no OD.

Moved my C Tax payment for March to the YB savings. Will follow it up later in the month with the extra tax credits for this month due to a change/increase. So that will hopefully boost me to over £4000 in accessible savings, and in the next few days I will also have £900 in the regular saver :j

Now I feel the pile of 8 tablets I took 15 minutes ago kicking in, and I had better go to sleep. Work tomorrow. But only 2 days and then off for 5 again. Much love... will be dreaming of incredible cushions! xxx

P.S Stepup - She is a bit gorgeous looking but mostly a tiny tearaway at the moment. She looks just like her daddy with my curls on top. Then some days she looks just like me. Love her.. :) Thank you for the compliment! xx

    Thanks Lilty :heart2:

I'm pretty sure it's to do with the rainy day accounts both of us have set up. I was trying to move money there by making a transaction from my main account or 'budget' rather than a transfer - does that make sense?

The ex physically transfers his to a different bank account (and different bank), so we couldn't figure out why the balance was showing different than what was actually left in his bank account. I think we were counting some things twice and some not at all!

Going to have another look at it tonight, unfortunately I can't donwload dropbox at work, so am unable to do it here. How rude of my workplace to force such inconvenience on me! ;):rotfl:

Have a lovely day lovely lady x

  • Is anyone getting total spam emails from MSE? I've had a few dozen in the last hours relating to posts on my diary that are not new?!?!

I have had emails, which I deleted once read and they came back again, so maybe a technical issue with their systems.

  • Ah thanks ladies. Glad it isn't just me Westie... I was going a bit crazy!!

Me&O it does make sense. Have you figured it out now? I can send you some pictures of mine in action. You can make transactions through the budget but it is more convoluted. The best thing to do is go into the account you are making the transfer from, click on Make a Transfer, and it will automatically come up with whatever date/transaction you made last as a transfer. So amend those to the right day/amount/account and then post. You then have to clear it in both accounts from/to!

Right am taking my lunch break. For once! So sitting here deleting the 30+ emails MSE has kindly sent me. Eating my sandwich. And talking to you lovely chaps and chapettes. Got a hot water bottle on the go. Highly professional :D and tiger balm. And am about to go for my first dose of painkillers for the day which isn't too bad :) post 1pm!

Hoping for a SFD today. Got bangers and mash for dinner :) don't need bread or milk. So it should be a SFD all being well. Don't let me spend on random stuff ;)

Hope you all have a lovely productive afternoon... I should have. I am currently concatenating names for a buddy list in excel. Don't even ask. xx

Sorry to hear your in discomfort Lilty, I have found heat patches help when I'm a work you can get some with dicflofenac which is a anti inflamatory in it so it absorbs into your blood stream, maybe worth investigating.

Enjoy your sandwich. I'm currently waiting for a bus in the rain after going to a workplace assessment to see if I am fit for work... Let's hope they say yes :)

  • Can't take any anti-inflammatories - clashes with other meds x7 that I take a day. Not even ibuprofen. I swell up like the elephant man. And the heat patches are not hot enough sadly. I put boiling water in a hot water bottle and it sets me up for an hour or so then I have to refill. My own fault for pushing it. I don't listen to my limits, but pain is a hugely boring topic so I don't like to bore people silly with posting it on here.

Hope they say yes. And you don't get too wet.

In other news... my watch has stopped. Whoopsie! Best put that on the list to repair.

And my drivers license needs renewing. So pics and £12 needed for that.

Mothers day, birthdays & all manner of things abound in March. It is going to take some creative accounting this month to up my savings at all!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling so good today Lilty, sending you hugs. :grouphug:

As for YNAB - I wasn't clearing it in both accounts, I'm guessing that was were I was going wrong too. Do you set up your 'rainy day' funds as new accounts (on the left) or do you have them just as categories within the main budget?

Thanks so much for this x
