Oh dear :( poor Jelly, sending healing thoughts and hope she is better soon. Poor you too - sending bug avoiding thoughts in your direction, it sounds a nasty one. Hope you manage some sofa sleep..........

    Thank you all <3

Billie the sofa because my flat is laid out so that my bedroom is furthest away from hers whilst the living room is right next to it and she has to come through there to get me. 1 door between us when I am on the sofa, 3 if I am in bed. Even with them open I can't risk it.

My soup was amazing :D and I think it will be even better tomorrow once the flavours have got working together. Cheesy garlic bread is always yum.

I was going to do an online shop. Instead I am going to go to sleep. 2 hot water bottles, my lovely giant duvet, extra layers of clothes (my living room is frigid at night) and 2 drinks.

    Night all xx

  • Ohhh nooo :( Poor little girl. Poor mummy too. I bet she is miserable with it. It is horrible being sick at any age but especially as a little one. I hope that whatever is causing it will ease off soon.

It's a shame you don't have a single air mattress so you could be in her room with her. At least you are close by. You are such a good mum. I am terrible with sick. It takes everything I have not to be sick myself when helping other sick people. I hope the bedding came out of the machine ok. I am thinking I might have to do that with our bedding.

OH is getting so hot at night I keep thinking he's wet the bed! It's very unpleasant to sleep next to!! I am having to change the bed almost every night. :(

I hope all this sickness will go away soon. I have never known a year like it. It's just one cold/illness after another for nearly everyone. There is not a person I know who hasn't been ill at least once this year. Blah. Go away illness!!

My thoughts are with you Lovely Lady.

    October xx
  • Get well soon all of you! :heart2::heart2::heart2: Spring is around the corner now and hopefully all the bugs will go and "do one" and everyone will be feeling better very soon! Lots of love and hugs to you both xxx

Oh my, I was racking my brains trying to figure out where on earth Leeds Castle was - I grew up there and couldn't think of anywhere that could have remotely been known as Leeds castle..... then I googled and found it wasn't actually in Leeds,Yorkshire :rotfl:

I hope both you and jelly are feeling much better soon. It's horrible being ill, never mind having a little one ill!

I shall make sure I add a little something to your just giving page, I know thats not why you mentioned it, but I think it's a good cause and you've educated me to the fact there is more than one Leeds:T

After reading all you posts I have been having a look at YNAB, I think I'm going to download the trial and give it a go. Gotta be worth a try, especially as it's a free trial haha.
