Just made a little donation to your page Lilty, good luck and have fun on your stomping adventures. :)

Excuse the random profile pic that has shown up next to the donation though, I've NO idea why that's appeared, but I do know I was very drunk and very, err, ginger there lol! x:rotfl:

Hey Lilts  sorry for brevity of post here but just letting you know I've sent you a lil donation as well - courtesy of Natwest for refunding my charge :) Good luck with it! x I'm giving a lil donation to a charity that researches cancer in cats in honour of our late kit-kat with the other bit of it. Good causes all round rather than those greedy Natwest bankers! (oh it rhymes with that anyway.. heh) xx

Ooh my... you wander off into the land of snuggling, washing, more washing, snuggling, and cleaning up sick to find tonnes of LOVELY posts!

    Hello!!

Debt Free Desires welcome and thank you! Now that you have stopped lurking, join in :D

To all of you who thought Leeds Castle was in Leeds, join the club :D It took years of living a few miles away for me to discover so :rotfl:

Thank you all so much for your donations... am very very honoured to have such amazing friends. I want to tell a couple of you off though... :p and you know who you are without me even saying a thing. The THOUGHT counts. That is all. Sometimes money is best left where it serves those who really need it.. and charity should begin at home. Please all remember that - I wasn't asking for donations. I thought the £30 I put in to do the walk was more than enough!!

Now.. onto me. I am still *touches head/wood* perfectly healthy. Drinking Milton really works.. :rotfl:

Him, I am told today, is finally out of bed and slightly recovered although nil by mouth. Jelly was vom free from 9pm until 8am :( and then it all started again. On the plus side she was so thirsty at half 5 this morning she drank 7oz of dioralyte which will obviously have done her a lot of good. However, the vom was started because she was begging begging begging for food, any food, and I gave in. How silly. Half an hour later it was everywhere. She may have mashed the blanket my mum had made for her with her name embroidered on before she was born.

I finally managed a shower at quarter to 4 and have had a little pamper session thanks to her being fast asleep listening to Taylor Swift in bed. We have the Docs at just after 5 so will need to get her up and out soon. I've lost count of the number of outfits we have gone through today. So she is resolutely in her most stained and old gear. And I don't care what the Doc thinks :rotfl: - if it is going to get attacked with Ariel, Vanish, Soda crystals and persil (yes seriously all angles) then it might as well already need some TLC. :rotfl: and if it doesn't work I can just rag bag it.

Right.. I am off to get YNAB updated with many purchases of cleaning and laundry items that were not budgeted this month. Love to all xxx

Poor Jelly, I hope she's better soon, must be exhausting for both of you. Nothing worse than a sore tummy and being sick but being starving at the same time.

Hope you don't catch the bug, sounds nasty - make sure to keep drinking that Milton. :rotfl:

    Oooh boy.

So the Doc confirms, Jelly (and Him by proxy) have got gastroenteritis. Having had it but once in my life I can wholly sympathise... my poor little pickle :( she has battled through the day with no food and a few sips here and there of water but she brings it right back up. At the moment she is dehydrated but not bad enough to warrant a drip. If she is no better in the morning/overnight, I have to take her back to see the doctor. She was sick at the doctors whilst waiting for the appointment. Pure water by that point so not a big deal but it made the point perfectly walking in with a half clothed, soaking wet child with bright pink cheeks and a temperature of 39 degrees. her little heart has been bumpety-bumping all day too.

Anyway nothing given, keep doing what you're doing yadda yadda. Can't even keep calpol down so she is in bed in a sleeveless vest and nothing else. On towels again love her. Just went in and woke her up, gave her a few sips of water and then stroked her hair until she was chilled enough to go to sleep and left her to it. :( she has been so good it breaks my heart.

Him getting much better. Thank goodness. If I go down now he can come and be some use!

Went with her to the pharmacy to collect my own prescriptions for the month (with courtesy sack from pharmacist who knows us by name sigh) and then did a quick whizz to stock up on some food bits to try and bake a cake tomorrow if I can break away from my huggy monkey for a few minutes. I was so blooming hungry (how can I eat when she can't?!) that I bought £20 of rubbish and ate half of it whilst making myself dinner :o I also bought a SHEDLOAD of cleaning stuff and medicines, dioralyte, paracetamol, imodium (just in case).

Budgets busted for the month I fear. I am going to tell YNAB and go to sleep. Another night on the sofa woohoo. Have had to cave and take my Ami tabs and some codeine just now. If I don't keep the Ami up I will lose the help it gives for a few days while it builds back up so not worth it. Have avoided all antihistamines so expect to look like elephant man tomorrow on day 3 without them. I can't afford the possible sedative effect with Jelly so hot and poorly.

In other news... I am completely bowled over by the generosity and kindness of spirit of you lovely people. It doesn't take a donation.. but you have moved me to tears several times with your kind words, kind lurking, and incredibly selfless donations. I REALLY LOVE YOU ALL (yes, even you, lurky mclurkers ;). xxxxx

Oh Lilty, nasty nasty bug is that and really hope Jelly starts to improve and the Milton keeps you free of it. :(

You're doing a grand job and tough decisions with your meds and that sofa again.

You're the amazing one, with your equally amazing Mum, taking action on the Big C - to support you in that is a privilege :)
