Bliss... she is fast asleep in my bed with a hot water bottle. No sick for 17 and a half hours and counting. Half a banana eaten and now 2 lots of calpol got in her since midnight which brought her temp down to something less frightening. I think we are over the worst! She is still in lots of pain everytime she has a drink or eats but all in all brighter this morning. Still looks terrible bless her and it is not like her to sleep the days away.

I've got coffee, and lemon cake and my mac. Happy bunny! Still not buggy thank heavens. Him was meant to come over this afternoon for a few hours to prep his mums birthday stuff for tomorrow. he still hasn't wrapped the presents we sorted out months ago. And text me last night to ask me to get cards. :mad: he works in a CARD SHOP. Anyway that is all out of the water with him not being well either. So looks like I am probably baking a cake by myself and wrapping presents. On the plus side I got more lemon curd so more lemon cakes abound :rotfl:

Am slowly getting around diaries and PM's catching up. I am not ignoring you.. Just trying to do half a dozen things at once.

My favourite and my DM's too.. Always used to fight over it when she made it.

So glad Jelly is getting better. Bless her. It must be so hard seeing her so sick. I can't wait till she is back on her little feet.

Got bored being a lady of leisure. :rotfl:

My bed stripped, in the washing machine.
Jelly's bed stripped and remade with the good stuff now she seems to be over the worst.
Kitchen stripped bare, scrubbed including tile backing etc.
Hob scrubbed until gleaming, same with the drainer/taps/sink
Kettle scrubbed and descaled
Chopping boards soaked in milton for a few minutes then scrubbed down with a metal scourer
Glass chopping board which are spread on the counters under the kettle etc are all gleaming and moved around to maximise space/usage.
Breadbin and various other bits found a new home for, including the iPod dock, crackers and biscuit barrels/bread bin, etc. Everything else moved around
Oven wiped down briefly but is sparkly anyway as I have been living off soup :rotfl:

Still to do:
Clean bathroom
Find out what I did with the toilet rolls and restock the bathroom
Bake a [STRIKE]lemon cake[/STRIKE] and a chocolate cake - dairy free
Bake some cookies. Maybe with the quinoa I have in the cupboard after I found a fab recipe
Get the bedding dried and back on the bed
Admire the kitchen some more... :rotfl:

Sounds like you can't be sitting still Lilty, just reading your posts makes me want to sit down, Well done on the productivity - I would give you a brownie housekeeper badge if you were one of my brownies

I am getting used to my Macbook that I bought after you got yours but I wonder if you know if there is a page down option? I miss that from my old windows laptop....

you have also been productive with your diary readings and PM postings - its hard work this isnt it....

Glad the little'un is feeling better. I'm exhausted reading what you've done today though! Puts me to shame and I thought I'd been productive!!!

Westie - CMD + the down or up icons for page up/down. I really missed Ctrl and C/V but turns out it is all just the CMD button :rotfl:

Lemon cakes x2 in the oven. Can be frozen or sent home with MiL for FiL also known as the human dustbin. Easy to make 2 as it was 1.

Now chocolate fudge cake for MiL's birthday cake. Wish me luck!

Lucky I am quite weird about the kitchen. That is a normal clean for me, just the addition of the shuffle with I do once every couple of months. I have a neighbour who is the same. I have never ever been in her flat even in the same day where everything has been in the same place. OCD. And boredom. Deadly mix. :rotfl:
