We noticed a lot of birds in the garden today. It always seems strange to us that on birdwatch weekends there seems to be loads around. We have a resident Robin that is always around us when we are out there. X:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Billie, I am so sorry I didn't reply to you in my post above!! Big hugs! I love the birds!!
Just embarking on another baking mission as the bread has been devoured. One issue with baking your own. I am destined to be very fat

Bless you. I have felt rotten for most of the day but when I finally got a shower, was getting dried in my bedroom and realised no Jelly. Immediately after that there was a suspicious sounding bang in the bath. Went to have a look and there is Jelly, sat in the bath I just climbed out of (empty but wet) with all her clothes on, and the bottle of hand wash in her hands, merrily pumping it all over herself. She must have used a quarter of the bottle, and her trousers, hands and face got it especially. Towel clad, I wandered back into the bedroom after removing the hand wash bottle, and decided to leave her in there to shower her immediately after me. She then piped up as I pulled a top on... "oh no! oh dear mummy" so I went running to find that she had collected my cold cup of coffee from the sink next to the bath and sipped some but mainly poured the rest down herself. Thank heavens I drink mine with soya milk or that would have been a fun night. As it was I took it off her, stripped and showered her and got her into her pyjamas at 4, she ate at half 4 which is a bit early and went to bed at 10 to 6, immediately asleep. :rotfl: it is exceptionally hard being just one person with her. Silence means a disaster!
What else have I done today? Well I went to the shop and spent £2 on chocolate and a further £4 on cough sweets and olbas oil and paracetamol. The girl laughed and said if the stuff didn't work at least the chocolate would cheer me up, and it has! Was meant to go shopping but I just can't face it with Jelly, so will do it tomorrow around GP appointment. Eaten my lovely dinner of lentil soup and homemade buttered bread. Then washed the pots, tidied round and made the dough for tomorrows bread. It is proving and will go in the oven later on as I can then slice it fresh in the morning for Jellys packed lunch without too much effort.
Not a lot else has happened here today. Been a moany whingebag!xx

Oh my, another sinus sufferer too - feeling like a shadow or twin :rotfl:

KD My kitchen is freezing too. I pop it on top of the radiator and turn the heating on for 10 minutes. Long enough to warm the radiator under the bread tin and allow it to prove before it goes cold again!
another reason for always baking at night instead of in the morning. I can prove it without little fingers jabbing it!!
Ali I've only ever had one sinus infection before, and it wasn't that long ago  - I thought my cheekbone was going to burst out of my face for over a week before I finally saw the doctor. I walked in to the room (having googled) and said.. I think I have a sinus infection. He looked at me, touched my cheek and said, yes me too :rotfl: and handed over antibiotics immediately. It is thankfully just my left cheek which is affected. Olbas etc all deployed.
Quiet evening achieved. Bread cooked and now am in bed and putting todays naughty receipt into YNAB then off to bed. xx

You get a good night too hun! I am not sure I would quite have called Jelly that today
Have set alarm for 2 mins to doctor calling time. I spam it on my phone from before it opens then as soon as it rings instead of the voicemail saying it is closed, I hit the number 2 button before it even gives me the optionswell versed, usually at the most 2nd in the queue! :rotfl:
