Post Work Programme Support

So I have now been to my 2nd appointment at Jobcentre at 12pm and these are the things I need to do:

1.Write to at least 10 employers a week

2. Phone at least 3 employers a week

3. Visit at least 3 employers a week.

4. Check my Universal Jobmatch account for 14 times a week at least.

5. Ask family, friends and people I have worked with before.

6. Look at Job websites and newspapers.

7. Internet x2 daily.

That sound a lot lol :D

Also I said to my advisor that I do not wish to let DWP/Jobcentre access to my Universal Jobmatch account and he said that is fine but I will need to print them of :)

you dont have too. I have paper copies of my jobsearch to keep and that is fine. I wish they would stop giving out false info.

Which is completely misleading, you do not need to print them off at all if you don't wish to do so.

Universal Jobmatch Toolkit - Chapter 3

"46. If it is not possible for the claimant to do any of the above, advise the claimant that they can login to their UJ account from an available Internet Access Device (IAD) in your office and print off the relevant screens/pages.

    47. However, the onus is on the claimant to provide evidence that they have created a profile and public CV by whatever
    means they choose."

Note paragraph 46, "advise the claimant that they can login...and print off relevant screens". There is no mandation for you to provide screenshots at all.

Also note paragraphs 98 and 99:

"98. If it is not possible for the claimant to do any of the above, or the claimant does not wish to accept cookies and so needs to use a DWP IAD, advise the claimant that they can login to their UJ account and print off copies of the relevant screens/pages from an available IAD inyour office.

    99. However, the onus is on the claimant to provide evidence of their jobsearch activity (by whatever means they choose)"

Don't be browbeaten in to performing actions that you are not required to do if you feel that they are excessive.

i feel sorry for the employers if everyone is bombarding them with phone calls and letters daily. They dont have jobs for everyone that asks.

Without you accusing me of being homophobic again is this post for real?

You want someone on here to find a site where they can give you a list of companies?

    Why not think for yourself?

How do you think I get a list of companies?
