Also please don't have a go at me but I am confused about something, it states on my agreement that I need to Visit at least 3 employers a week, now what does that mean by employers?

Does it mean like stores like Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Poundland, Wilkinsons ete.

    I just don't understand that bit :o:D

All the shops in your town, all the offices, all the factories, in fact anywhere that does business at all. If you get through all the ones in Burnley then try further afield.

Just go in with a copy of your cv and ask are they thinking of taking anybody on and if not can you leave a cv for consideration when they are.

Ok thanks, also I am confused about this, it stated that I need to access my Universal Jobmatch account 14 times a day, how the hell would Jobcentre know I accessed it 14 times?

That is a stupid agreement :D

    4. Check my Universal Jobmatch account for 14 times a week at least.

It says 14 times a week which equates to twice per day.

It depends on how you want to interpret it.
It could be 14 times in one day or any combination of 14 in 7.

I know maths isn't your strong point gay-guy, but come on, are you being serious now?

    YES!!

''how the hell would Jobcentre know I accessed it 14 times? ''

Unless you give them access to your account I don't think they will. My JSAG says I have to access my UJM account 14 times a week too. I'll look on UJM a lot more than that as it happens, but I rarely 'access' my account (I assume they mean log in) because there's no need to apply for jobs that way most of the time. I will only log in if that's the only way to apply for a particular vacancy.

When are the govt going to bring in sanctions for those that so obviously are doing all they can to avoid work? They could call it "last chance" - removing all benefits and replacing with a cardboard box, a blanket and a begging bowl. Might help "focus the mind", don't you think?
