I can't be botherd with them Jobseeker dairy.
You want to print off 10 20 30 40 jobs instead of just writing them down?

They look at all the print outs I guess?

What? I don't print out that lot, some jobs I applied on UJM and like I stated I only write down my jobseeking on microsoft office word and send it to my email.

Also I don't print the Job advert out from websites, I only print the jobs from other sites if I get a confirmation in my email to let me know their received it, and also if their reply back stating if I have been successful or unsuccessful. :D

Doing all this lot saves me time to write down on Jobseeker dairy, even Jobcentre adviser is fine with this method of proof. :)

Yes its a list in microsoft office word, this is an example of what I do:

    1. I applied for Warehouse Operative - Job ID: 7675564 - I sent my cv to the following email address - This job is posted on Universal Jobmatch.

Just so you know, that ID Is wrong, its just an example that ID :D

Oh see you are meant to put the date, where the job was advertised, the name of the company/agency, who was the contact name or email, who you applied (letter and cv or online acct etc) and the sate you are going to chase up of if you have had a reply already

If you are JC are happy with that little bit of info then good luck

Lets hope you don't as what you are putting if that's an example is not enough.

Be careful, you may get a different adviser one day who decides you have not provided enough information about job applications and refers you for a sanction.

As a minimum you should be writing date, position, company, job ref, source and application method. Because your current adviser accepts less information, does not mean another adviser will.

1: In this case you apologise as you did not know any different. It has been ok before now for other advisors so blame them for not informing you properly. Say you will get it right for next signing on day. If that's not good enough, kick up a fuss!

2: Yep, that's what you should be writing down. You're doing 4 out of 6, the other 2 shouldn't take more than a few seconds longer and well worth the effort ;).
