Welcome Juliajojo, be lovely to have you here with us!

Skinty sorry to hear you're a fellow BD sufferer :(. Sending really strong key finding vibes to you; it's a nightmare when they go missing isn't it. Hope you find them soon :)

Nicki revised plan sounds like a good one to me too; hope your feet and back feel better after a good sleep!

Ionafan thanks for the stick! Sounds like you're coming along so well in your house now and isn't it great to be able to unpack boxes and put things away.

Pigpen sorry to hear your hips are so painful; a day knitting sounds like an excellent idea. How's your throat or shouldn't I ask? I've had to put the knitting to 1 side as I get shooting pains in my arm tendons (I type for my job) so knitting and typing is just too much for my arms and it's only the typing that pays .....

The Scoop well done with what you've done this week - you'll find just doing a bit a week really does make a difference :)

Bossy lovely keyring, bet MIL will be thrilled.

Only just got up - couldn't get up this am so DH had to get up with me and help get kids ready; he got them sorted for school as I went back to bed after breakfast and rested. Legs feel so heavy and I just feel sad :(. I know it'll pass but it's hard; had this now for 10 years.

OK, quite an easy day today so going to do what I have to and then do some wrapping (5 presents a day) and then some sewing yay!

Stopped working on the window as anything else would require me opening fresh paint. I'm going to whack the heating up and have a bath as soon as my phone has finished charging.

Just watching the Autumn statement and trying to work out what's going to effect me and keeping another eye on the weather...
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

I'm feeling a bit disorganised when it comes to Christmas - went to make mince pies last night for school and discovered that the jar of mincemeat which I was sure I had was no longer there. No idea where that's gone!
If you're anything like me, because it's a Christmas-type thing you've put it somewhere safe out of the way. I usually find all the wrapping paper and cards I bought in the January sales the following January (thus managing to bypass Christmas completely), when I store the following year's bargains. I had to stop buying stuff ahead of time eventually because it happened so often!

Sticks for Dusty's, Froddington's and Skinty's BDs in the hope that they can all s*d off and play together, thus keeping them happily occupied. Safe journey for Mr Kitten and glasses-and-key-finding-vibes for Skint.

I loved your original bear post Bossy and what you said moves me every time I think about the three of them. I hope your MIL finds your pouch comforting.

 Hi and Welcome to The Scoop and Juliajojo!

Healing vibes for Pigpen and defluffing gloss vibes to Ionafan. Painting I don't mind too much, but sanding down I loathe with a passion. I imagine you'll be doing both - unless DH volunteers to do the decent thing.

Thanks CompBunny. My office is my RoD and despite two complete overhauls in the 18 months I've been flying, it had managed to acquire several gibble mountains AGAIN. That room alone took two hours of really solid work to sort yesterday, but the first time I did it, it took two weeks! I've found that Flying really does work if you develop new habits - I can't leave a room now without mentally checking to see if there is anything that belongs in another room; it only took one day of not letting myself move around the house empty-handed about three months ago to become second nature.

Good news all round - the scrap store says it will accept my extensive collection of cardboard (another craft project that I'm going to let go). That'll be three boxes out of the attic, which :rudolf: may be a week late, but completes my November Challenge. Is it wrong to feel so virtuous when it's so self-serving?
    Better is good enough.

Nope, nothing wrong with that at all Honey Bear!

Done my filing and a bit of flinging, hung up washing, sorted and put away dry stuff and now about to have lunch.
