Evening all
No flying again. Washing up and laundry only. Oh well maybe tomorrow, but I doubt it, weekend catch ups I think.
I'll do the list in a bit.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening all.
I've started adding colour to my windowHad to stop as it was getting dark. My feet and back are aching like mad though. I don't think I'll be doing anything on it tomorrow as I'm out so much, but we'll see
Got a tweet & fac3book msg & text from school earlier to say that school will be closed again on Tuesday for the teachers funeral so that staff can attend. Then DD came home and told me :rotfl: So it looks like I'll have an extra pair of hands to help get stuff done next week. She has asked if she can go to her friends, but I've said that all depends on her behaviour.
DD has washed up, I've done some work but still have loads to do, tea is bubbling away so we're going to eat and I'll get on with work. Need to write a list of what HAS to be done tomorrow so I don't forget anything againRoll on the 20th and a lie-in! :rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Properly-working-loo-vibes heading your way Lamewolf.
 Hi LibertyBelle! I love it when lurkers surface. Makes me all
Dusty, given your circumstances the only thing that really matters, surely, is looking after RP. The dusting can wait - sacrilige on this thread, I know, but priorities should sometimes get reordered.
FizzWhizz, would you be able to shop on line and get Dune1m to deliver?
We don't have kids Mumof2, so I can't offer any comment.
Flying-wise, today has been very hard work but the Honey Bear Homestead looks presentable. And due to nifty low lighting, (dimmer switches, lamps and exceptionally low wattage bulbs), the dust and carpet stains don't show.Better is good enough.0 -
Dailies done.
Cat stuff done. Been chasing him tonight to get his ear mite stuff in. He is not amused.
Living room 30 mins done.
Very little wrapping left to do. Will start Xmas cards tomorrow.0 -
I left DD and she was fine thanks.
Here's all that's left of my list so looking good:

Going to start wrapping up the Christmas presents tomorrow, just a few at a time. Been v organised as already wrapped all DS's presents and he's not 7 til 19.12
Sending loo vibes to you Lame Wolf!
Hi to LibertyBelle, just jump on where you are and well done on making the leap from lurkdom!
Nicki hope a good night's sleep sorts out your feet and back. Your window does sound impressive!
Time to put DS to bed; just got in from Beavers and he's tired plus anxious about tomorrow as he's having a supply teacher in - poor little guy doesn't like changes to his routine and worriesFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hi all
I feel I've been quite productive today. Got a few decs out and have done a cute display in the landing window. Kids have had a bath, story and cuddle. Been quite a peaceful evening with them (for a change).
Gammon is done - finished off in oven, mmm lush. Plenty for freezing too. Everything ready for morning. DS asked if we can go for breakfast in the school hall (they do breakfast club) so he can show us the "massive" Xmas tree
Got another wash about to finish, so will shuffle stuff around first to make room...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Honeybear - please remember that its easy to keep something up for a week but a whole lot more difficult for 18months! Also:
- I have no kids, just hubby-to-be, dog and me
- OH is messy like me , but he is at work during the day
- I have ME/CFS so spend most of the day resting (not creating mess). Looking after the house and dog is all I have to do.
- My standards are probably a lot lower than yours!
- Our house is tiny
And finally, it was my Mum visiting :rotfl:She understands my difficulties in keeping on top of the house so isn't overly fussy when visiting!
I've come on a long way for me, but this house sure isn't a pristine show home yet!
Good luck with getting ready for your visitor, I bet you are flying highGC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

Somebody throw my BD a stick please, it is doing my head in.
Done the bit of ironing I had to do as DH is back off to the US tomorrow for a week.
Need to get DS3 to bed, he is moaning because DS1&2 are playing on the PS3 and he is not allowed in (unsuitable game). Off to get him settled and then a bit of knitting. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hugs for all poorlies xDustykitten wrote: »Somebody throw my BD a stick please, it is doing my head in.
I'll throw you one but could someone please throw one my way too? Ta.
I just want to hide indoors and not surface for a while - and my arm is really aching now the weather's got cold
On a happier note, Dad and I have flights booked to go to Italy to see my Grandfather's memorial in the park named after him
I'd post about the flying I've done if I could think of any"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Many sticks being thrown at black dogs!
In desperation at feeling pants this morning I got my SAD light out. I swear I felt better within 10 minutes.
SO WHY DID IT TAKE ME MONTHS TO GET IT OUT?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
