All LR jobs from Monday are now done and I've hoovered/swept/mopped all of downstairs and walked the dogs.
I am taking deep breaths as DD is getting on my nerves.
Right, paid stuff now.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Sorry, been really rubbish on the thread but hugs to poorlies (Pigpen I remember, not that she's been wailing at all
), warm cyber blankets for cold people (Skinty) and big congratulations to those who have produced a lovely baby (OptiMum) and whose children have done really well (Dusty). I know there's loads of others so please forgive my p*ss poor memory
.
Just realised I've almost run out of anti ds which is MAJOR bad news for me as feeling bad right now so done a pleading note through with my repeat prescription. Will call tomorrow and hope it's been done.

Not too bad but minding my back as still painful - the osteo said the fall on the ice when I went skating really shook my whole back up so will have to be careful. I'll be back ....Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
I'm just having a brew. Second wash is on, outside lights are up - seem ok but it's really bright out, so hope they look nice when its dark. Will need to find a timer for them.
Have a huge gammon which I'll get going in the slow cooker. Fancy something different to cola so will browse for ideas. Also looked for DS some jeans but only saw one pair that looked too wide yet too short. They were is a CS and from George, which never fit him right. The market stalls didn't have any kids stuff
Last night our elves used gold string and tiny Xmas pegs to hang up all the dolly clothes. In between they also pegged the kids pants off their clothes pile for this morning. DS reaction was hilarious. He was first amused but pleased they'd done washing and not been naughty, then did a double take when he saw his undies :rotfl: he was so indignant,
I'm going to flick the heater on in the conservatory so I don't freeze my bits off doing the windows. It's bright out, but my ears and nose hurt from being out in the coldBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Good nearly-afternoon everyone
Mum is coming over today and I can proudly say that, for the first time, it will only take me 15mins to straighten a few things in the house instead of going into a full panic when she announces her intention to visit 4 hours before it happens :rotfl:
Can hardly believe it! I've only been frequenting this thread for a week or so!
Master bedroom today - just going to give all the surfaces a quick wipe and remove any clutter that has accumulated but shockingly its not that bad! Sheets are OK as changed them at the weekend.

Just have to report that we have a window cleaner!!! He has done a brilliant job - using long brush not ladders and pure water - which leaves the windows streak and spot free. Now it shows up where I missed with the Karcher inside though:o Will need to find a duster and give them a polish as it spoils the effect!!
Getting on well with my list. Update later.July 16 £95/£200

Its just me tring to catch up with the washing at the moment, boys seem loads better today haha was woken up by ds1 (who was in my bed) had poo'd and it had exploded out of his nappy, over the top of his pj bottoms, on to the towel I had put down as a precaution, on to the bottom sheet and on to my brand new mattress am gutted! So I have done extra handwashing today followed by a few boil washes lol.
They are both having a nap now and then I will do us all some lunch I am starving! Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to have a good look at the lists and crack on.0 -

I'm a bit put out as I rearranged my work causing myself a complicated week. 2 of the girls have cried off saying they have too much to do. DH wanted to go shopping today and I pushed him to next week. Wish I hadn't bothered. Please keep posting those who haven't done much flying, it makes me feel in such good company!I am taking deep breaths as DD is getting on my nerves.
Stix for Mumof2. Speaking of which, OH's favourite cartoon is of a little dog unwrapping a long, thin, lumpy present under the tree, with a thinks bubble that say 'Oh boy, a STICK!'
Bossy, loved the mental picture of the washing line! Please keep posting your elves' antics.
CompBunny, I am in serious awe! I've been following the thread for over 18 months and I've just spent the best part of three days trying to sort and clean ready for one person to stay one night in my office. You are clearly very good at this Flying lark. Tips please!Better is good enough.0 -
Probably not going to get much more done today, I subbed the HHI for a half hour paint door... as we throw all but 2 set of draws and one warbdrope out when moving, in all honesty they were the argos ones and they'd of not gone back up, once down.. they also had sort of titled and we never could get them straigth again, complete waste of money and I'll never buy anything like that again... we have a community transport near us and they sell cheap old sturdy stuff, so once the bedrooms are all done (decorated & carpeted) then I'll go and get some from there and do them up if needed... so our clothes are actually still in boxes (neatly may I add after last week
) so I iron the clothes for next day the night before (or in honesty sometimes rushing next day trying to eat toast while doing so... yes I snoozed this morning)
