Plumber's been. But we're still not fixed.:( Turns out the filler device (for the loo) that he fitted the other day is faulty. Not only that, but out of a batch of 10 he bought from Bee and Screw-it, no less than FIVE have been faulty. So he's wound down the mechanism so that it fills as slowly as possible (doesn't stop when it reaches the top, and is overflowing into the pan) and will get another from a different supplier, and try his very best to call in some time tomorrow, even though he has a completely full schedule, to fit it. I suspect he'll also be making a strong complaint to HQ of a certain DIY chain..... Meantime this could cost us a fortune in water, as we're on a meter.

    Aww, how cute!

We have a local train station nearby, with no facilities. Can you still buy tickets on the journey? We're only going two stops :o

Was thinking of taking the littlies into the city on Saturday afternoon. If we go about 4 we can have tea out and see the christmas lights. The new shopping centre has some fab lights up that make it look like its snowing :D

Kids away to bed already :o I am a naughty mum. But it's very quiet - can only assume they need it...

My youngest will be 20 on Monday, but your post reminded me that at this time of year my kids would literally sleep for 12-13 hours, given the chance!
