Sorry I know I don't normally post on here but I'm a lurker and when I read this I took it as though you cut his hair whilst he was asleep :rotfl:

Haha, that made me laugh. It would have served him right though and I could have crossed this job off my to do list yesterday!

    Morning all

Paid stuff done and I'm flagging already, AF is really draining me this month.

Just having a cuppa and then I must go to town, dreading how busy it will be.

I haven't managed to read Fred yet, so please bear with me.

Today is 'Fixing Frustrations' day. Computers, sewing machines, furniture restorers, plumbing, you name it, we've got a problem with it. Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh.

Still, after two years of putting it off, I did manage to work out how to put the reflective stuff behind the radiators on external walls yesterday. Having done it, I can't think why I thought it was difficult.
    Better is good enough.

I have much work in the kitchen today, so will need to do a good clean-round in there afterwards, so today's official list will pretty much be done in the Wolf's Lair.:D Pizza base has been made; I need to construct the topping, but Mr LW grated a bowl of cheese and diced some onion last night to save my hands, so that won't take long. BM is now on for a loaf, as we're almost out, and I need to make a choc mousse to use up the cream from the farmers market while it's still good.:o

We pretty much stocked up on non-perishables at the weekend (Mr LW took me to @ldi) so that's covered.

Plumber didn't come yesterday - he'd said he'd slot in our 5-minute task between jobs, Anyways Mr LW spoke to him this morning - apparently the job he was on yesterday afternoon was a nightmare, and he didn't finish til 23:00:eek: so he's calling at 17:00 to 18:00 today, he says. I hope he turns up this time; I'm on tenterhooks til he does, and it's all done and dusted, as I so loathe having workmen in the house.:(

Dusty I hope AF leaves you alone soon; you've had enough stress with RP (healing vibes continuing, btw) without any more hassle. I have to say, I don't have AF visiting any more, and I don't miss her one tiny bit!

Phone call done, notes taken to relay to Ex when we both speak to him later ;) WMx1 on as I forgot but all the detailing on the window done! I'm now going over the pen lines (I love whiteboard markers ;)) with paint, and going over yesterdays lines again to make them solid and thicker in some places. The window is looking good but I need to eat so I'm going to take a break to eat and watch something then then back to the window. Its good taking a break now, the sun has come out and was blinding me, in theory it will have moved round enough for me to work again soon. Now, where did I put the cup-a-soups...

  • Evening all,

I've been home from work for a few hours and have achieved one mammoth non-flying task. Just having five minutes in the dark with the Christmas tree lights twinkling before I get on with dinner and tomorrow's packed lunches. I swept the kitchen yesterday so just need to wipe the boards and mop tonight. Work was exhausting so don't think I'll get much else done once the DC get in and homework is pulled out. I would love to clear the dining room table but not sure it'll happen.

    Tuesday Extra Jobs
    Dinner/lunches
    Secret santa - make list
    Christmas present list
    Make gingerbread and/or flapjacks
    Pack boxes for Friday

Hope everyone is having a lovely day :D

I hope he comes when he says LW. I hate workmen in the house too. They always want to talk to me about nothing or even worse, about what they are fixing ZZzzzzz.
Well ds2 has barfed on my sofa so all cushion covers are on a boil wash.
