Oh no lozzy! What a nightmare. I'd had a new bed for three weeks when one morning I found DS in bed with me. I reached over to put my arm around him and felt the damp :( threw the covers back and he had no nappy on! I squeaked "why have you no nappy on?" and bless him he said "it was full when I woke up so I took it off" duh then fell asleep in my bed...

That day I went out and purchased waterproof protectors for every bed in the house.

Conservatory windows done :T been meaning to sort them for weeks. Just had lunch, so am now going up in the loft for a bit of a recce. Then I might make some chili jam...

Got some nice Xmas stickers for DD to make some cards. She loves that sort of thing, and they were only 19p per sheet...

The gammon is in the slow cooker with apple juice. I then had the idea of adding some mixed spice  hope it works out ok...

ETA: glad you enjoy the antics honey bear - you might be fed up of it by the 24th though...

    Just popping in,

    3x wm done
Mother's shopping done. When I took it to her she gave me another list for shopping. I told her I can't go back today.

My Dad had his op on Monday. He has moved from intensive care to high dependency unit. So far so good but it is very early days yet.

Thank you for your good wishes x

    Posivibes for your Pa, dancemum
Fizzwhizz do you have Wisdom Teeth? they may be grumbling and disturbing your bite Do you have clicking on one or both sides of your jaw when you eat? Is chewing food a real chore, so it seems easier to inhale your food? Could be slight jaw misalignment.

Once my wisdom teeth were removed there was a marked improvement in the frequency and intensity of my migraines, although I still get migraines I can cope inbetween a bit better HTH

Thank you Skinty, another avenue worth poking and prodding at! I had assumed that the migraines I'm suffering with are the same as my Dad and Grandad had at a similar age but it probably coincides with when my WT started to show face. Even now, at 35, they're not fully exposed and can cause me a bit of a niggle when they're on the move, no clicky jaw though. I also doubt my Dad and Grandad had a monthly migraine before AF was due :rotfl:

I have been at the paid stuff for 4 hours this morning and really struggling to scrape together the momentum to clean my own house now. I have run some vinegary water through the steam mop as it seems to be a but blocked and I thought this might descale it. We'll see.

The front door is being painted as I type and obv can't be closed until it's dry so it's blippin' freezin' in here. Maybe if I move, that'll help.

Time to strip our bed and do the WM/airer shuffle…

ETA: Can anyone help me? I desperately need new pillows as mine are ancient, flat and bleuch. I have a giant, heavy head :o and like the pillows which have a latex core but are polyester filled too. Where can I get them? I used to go to Dune1m but the nearest one is in Birmingham and I hate driving up there, or Nuneaton which seems a ridiculously long way to go just for a pillow.
I've looked in Arg0s and Sainsbobs but no joy. I can't even think of anywhere else to look. Anyone?

    That's good news Dancemum :)

Bossy I'd never heard of the elves til yesterday as they're doing them in DS's class.

Thanks for the sticks Honey Bear. Just been out for an hour's walk in the sunshine with Pip and exercise generally helps. Bought some flowers when I was out and they look very pretty in the vase on the window by me.

Comp Bunny I agree with what Honey Bear said - you were obviously born to fly!!

lozzy glad the boys seem better today but not good re your new mattress - typical isn't it. Seem to remember DS doing something like that when we got our memory foam mattress too.

Just the two of us yay for the window cleaner - I bet your windows are really sparkling now!

Can I ask you a non Flying related question please? DD is just turned 11 - would you say she's old enough to be left for just over an hour whilst I take DS to Beavers and help? DH has to go to a works meeting and won't be back til 7.30 and she really doesn't want to go to Beavers with me and DS. I'd tell her not to answer the door or phone and leave my mobile number. She is very sensible. Thanks :)

I love to hear about these elves too, I am going to give them ago next year keep the ideas coming lol.

ETA mumof2 as long as she is happy to be left I would happily leave her HTH

We've just moved house so it's a nightmare. Got huge pile of ironing building up but also need to tidy and sort the bedroom and finalise the last few boxes. Tonight in addition I am going to the gym for an induction - trying to lose weight the exercisey way!

Last night I hoovered living room carpet and kitchen.

But tonight I'm going to try and do:

    1 basket of ironing
Bring in end of bed tidy from garage and put some bedding in it.
Maybe stuff to sell and give away from HUGE bedding pile. We need all new stuff as we've just got all new beds as we were renting furnished before (now renting unfurnished)

    'Scuse me folks.......

    AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Thanks, I feel a little better now.

No sign of plumbers as yet.:( I hope to goodness they get here today, the strain on my nerves is getting too much to cope with.:(

To add to it, Mr LW left both his work mobile and personal mobile at home, as well as his wallet. Just my luck, the car dealership called, something to do with a window switch. So I'm a gibbering wreck from dealing with the call (I've left a note on Mr LW's computer keyboard, as I'll get all muddled if I try to tell him when he gets in). For those who don't know me, I have a severe phobia of telephones, but seeing who it was calling on the display I didn't feel I could just ignore it.:( That was at 15:55, and I'm still shaking.:(

I did manage to forward his work mobile to the landline on his desk at the office, so that was something. Must remember to tell him to take off the divert when he gets in.

I just want today to be over. *cries*

LibertyBelle welcome to the thread; don't worry, I'm not usually this scatty; well ok we're all more or less slightly nuts here, but if you've lurked for a couple of weeks you'll have realised that for yourself.;)

Flying-wise.... Um.... I've cleared the washing up, and that's about it.:(

ETA: Plumbers have just arrived bearing one serious-looking piece of kit; hopefully this will be and end to our flushing woes - properly-working-loo-vibes welcomed, if anyone can spare them, please.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
