Dusty sorry to hear about your pet.
What I did today:
I flitted about the living room this morning partially clearing the floor. I moved a couple of pieces of furniture in the process too.
Folded up the clean washing ready for ironing.
Washed and dried the weeks bathing towels.
Had a quick flit with the duster.
Sorted out some old paperwork.
Took the ironing pile upstairs and sorted it out into different piles for the family, (husband is responsible for putting his own stuff away) I put the rest away.
Now sitting down and relaxing for a little while before I start on tonight's dinner.January 2014 GC: £483.86/£580.00

Thank you all so much for you lovely messages. DS3 has taken it well, he said he feels relieved and has gone to his squash club. I on the other hand am still a blubbering wreck.
Still at least I keep doing bits of flying to distract myself. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Huge (((((hugs))))) to Dusty and family. RIP Royal Paws. Hope you will have many happy memories of better times with her.
Electrician has completed his OFSTED and passed with flying colours. Swedish store has deliveredCurtains have been hung in LR . I have laid offcuts of vinyl flooring in cupboard under stairs. DH has finished putting together the 3 units with replacement parts and nearly completed another cupboard with drawers. I have hung up 4 glass lampshades which actually look very smart but were a pain to fit. I still haven't unpacked, *rolls eyes*, but tomorrow is another day and another chance to get the work done.... Except that we are going out for lunch!

Is it still wild, jazee? lots calmer here.
Not a lot done here, done a bit more sewing. Redone seams on MIL gift and started something for FIL. Went for DS. Did dinner and cleaned up after. Put another wash on. Got kids in pjs and we're upstairs having milk and tea.
DS wants to play - but he's too tired...

Dailies done
Cat stuff done.
Bedroom 30 mins done.
Tree and decorations up. Usually out with DD shopping today but too dangerous to go out. Wind has dropped but flooding has started. I'm about 2 mile inland. Town a couple of miles away has been evacuated.
Dusty Big hugs for you and your family.0 -
