I can't believe we have done 11 months already. I know I won't get to my £6000 target this year but will make sure I get to £5k.

    Good luck everyone for December.
Aim to be mortgage free by 2017

  • happy december everyone. No 7 reporting in and started overpaying today with a payment of £720.17. We slipped into debt in July to buy a vintage VW campervan which needs some restoration and that explains why we are not going to meet our target this year. But debt is all paid off and we can make a start on overpaying again.
    mortgage 1 33,000. paid nov 2012 :D. mortgage 2 87,000 due 51,686.76 at july 2013, but then:new home and remortgage ... £101065.43:eek: now 74k

Hello all! This week's update is done.

Congratulations black taxi - superb! :)

Calicocat - I had given you number 140 but then had a clearout of everyone who hadn't posted an overpayment. I've added you back on as number 5 this time and updated the spreadsheet with your overpayment. :)

Nearly into the last month of the year. Keep it going all!

Have a great weekend everyone. :)

Oh heck....sorry.....and thank you. Very kind , as I am a serious late comer in the year.

I tend to save up and then do a bigger OP rather than every month at the moment.

    Nearly there though.... :)
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.
  • Hi all, no. 102 reporting in with the last o/p for this year. £986. Thx for keeping this thread running all year, it's great motivation.
  • MFW No.148 reporting in with an OP of £205 for December.

That brings my total of OP's over the year to £3000. £1000 more than I had originally targetted at the beginning of the year. Onwards and upwards for next year and hopefully a bigger target can be achieved.
