I wont be able to OP anymore this year - December is never a good month for extra money, what we do have is being used to build up savings after dipping into them to pay CC.

Didn't do too badly this year - got about 75% of my target :).

Would like to thank this forum and JCL, without this I wouldn't of had the incentive to push past the 130k mark - which I have by 1k. So happy to see the numbers dropping.

Thanks to Lomcevak for taking over 2015 thread, will keep a look out for your starting thread - would love to join again.

Hope everyone has a merry Christmas xx

#107 here, unfortunately I think I'll fall short of my target by a couple of hundred pounds (due to car trouble). Still, delighted to have gotten down nearly £5,000 of my mortgage in its first year!

I've been terrible this year on the overpayments. However, I've just made one of £500 and hope to get back to normal in 2015.

    #54 reporting a November OP of £161.25

(I think Octobers OP of £94 is showing as November on the spreadsheet)

    Thank you! :)
  • #114 paying my final OP for the year of £547 - £5000 target reached!

It's the first year I've done it and I've found it really worthwhile! Many thanks to JCL for all the hardwork :T

  • #86 here and oh dear I've completely failed this year! My target for the year was £3,500 and I've only managed £350!

However, we bought our car on finance and as the final settlement was due next year, I decided to pay it off in full a few months ago, so we would save a year's worth of interest. We've been trying to get our savings back up again, which is going well so far, and so hopefully next year we will be able to focus on making overpayments once more :D

Well done to everyone who has met their target!
Thank you to everyone who posts on here :)
