I've done my stint this year so will be passing the MFW reins on to someone else for 2015. If you'd like to take over please post in the thread or send me a private message. Thank you.

  • #47 reporting with a OP of £400 for Sep, Oct and Nov, taking us to £2600 for the year so far. Payment due for Dec should go out no problem, so can probably say we've made our target of £3000 for the year.

A number wasn't allocated but I'm currently ahead of target, at about 0.83% of mortgage value per month in pension contributions divided by four. Current 25% lump sum value is 79% of mortgage balance.
Now at 84% of the mortgage balance vs 79% back on 28 June. Ahead overall.

Number 95 with some well overdue updates -

    August £225
    September £225
    October £225
    November £625

Although I'm a bit behind hitting my target this year, I've just realised that 5 years into my 25 year mortgage I've paid off a third of it so not too disheartened! An even more satisfying figure is that I'm now paying 70% less monthly interest than I was with the FTB rate I could get in 2009!

    Hi JCL

My final £900 for November, making my usual £1k. Getting harder with more having to go out than coming in, but will meet my target.

Thanks for taking charge over the last year. really appreciated.

    Tx
Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Hoping DH gets the bonus they've all been talking about so I can make my target of £4000, but we shall see!
