The deadline has now passed so I've removed all of those MSE members who had signed-up for 2014 MFW but not posted an overpayment.

That means our overall target and our progress towards it reflects those who have taken part. The revised overall target is £768,885 and so far we've collectively overpaid by £627,430 or 81% of target. A great effort everyone!

This week's update has been done. As usual the links can be found in the first post.

I've done my stint this year so will be passing the MFW reins on to someone else for 2015. If you'd like to take over please post in the thread or send me a private message. Thank you.

    #1 reporting £230 op for November :D

Bought 3 x asda Christmas savings cards £144 each as they get £6 bonus soon. Bought on credit card so cash back in January too. Also got house insurance renewal in December.Christmas shopping mostly done but a few nice days out etc planned. Nevertheless should meet our target by the end of December ;)
Our house is currently for sale so will be aiming for a bigger mortgage next year but will keep overpaying. Should do better next year as I was on mat leave for half of 2014.
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
    MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £4939 :D
