#12 with my normal £600 OP for the month - struggling for motivation a bit though, it's a fair chunk of cash each month but the mortgage feels like it's hardly moving (overall i'm taking more that £1500 a month off the balance so I'm making decent steps in the right direction, but with a little over £160k outstanding there's a long way to go...)

On the plus side, if i've done my sums right I think i'm finally in the green in MFiT-T3

Got a bonus, so maxing my OP for the month ! £500 paid in, so balance is now £2825 / £3,000.


LOL Perhaps I shouldn't have reduced it to £2,500!

ive never saved/invested in my life,always took out 1k/3k bank loans


when I was 47, 5 years ago,deciding to be MF,best financial decision I ever made.


now I have a chance to build a nest egg,wont be rich,but comfortable.


also with spare disposable income now,i can spend without taking on any debt.cafe,restaurants,short city breaks/holiday

Only one more payment of £547 to make in Dec, very confident I'll reach my target

2015 is going to be a different approach - OH and I are potentially moving house / city but won't know for sure until the spring. I'm planning to use my OP money to save for the move, and if it doesn't happen I'll OP it and set a new target for next year. Once we've moved, I'll get back on the OPing. Phew.
