    Quite possibly!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Coupon-mad's first post has helped thousands of moneysavers successfully appeal their unfair private parking tickets.

It's up to you whether or not you pay your "blodi fine." However, if you are expecting to receive any help from our forum regulars, I strongly suggest you reconsider your attitude and apologise for being so rude.

Please bring yourself into 2014, Ignoring stopped being an option for many firms in England and Wales two years ago.
  • Just about to put in the first stage appeal ((soft) after receiving notice to keeper/driver. Is this the most recent template. I found two this one which has some additional sections re formal challenge and drop hands offer etc and another one that just has the simple statement of grounds for challenge.

Either will do - the point is to get a POPLA code if it's a BPA member, and not to give away who was driving!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi,
Just a quick questions. Why isn't there any further information on points a to e on the template appeal letter? Is it better to wait to the next appeal level to provide a more thorough explanation.

    Thanks
  • I used your letter for a parking ticket for £80 I recieved for parking in a free car park , I added photos of the parking signs which were small and not noticeable , also enclosed copies of purchases made and disabled badge which had slid off the dashboard. The parking attendants had watched us help my 80 year old mother out of the car and enter the store and immediately put the ticket on the car , I also complained to the store as you advised and am pleased to tell you they have cancelled the ticket .

I would like to see a section on here about fighting back after you have won at POPLA. Claiming my costs etc after using the 'drop hands' offer in the appeal template letter.

Costing them money is the best way to defeat them.
The word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary
    Tickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]
    PPC Appeals: 8 [accepted: 2, rejected: 5, pending: 1]
    POPLA: 4 [accepted: 4, rejected: 0, pending: 0]
  • for example the driver pulled off the road into a car park as a baby was being ill in the back of the car. Cleaned down baby etc drove away.
PCN notice ANPR received showing photo evidence of 14 min stay with a £ 90 notice.

Has the driver got any chance of an appeal?
