DWP benefits due for the 24th, 25th or 26th are definitely being paid on the 23rd - or if you are in the NatWest, today
. It all depends on when your bank updates. In the case of the NatWest for credits due on a Monday this happens at about 2am on a Saturday morning so anyone due benefits on 24/25/26 December and who bank with the NatWest might want to check their bank account as their payments should already be showing. 0 -

Yup, mine is due on the 26th, but was showing yesterday (21st) which is a shame as for a fleeting moment I got excited by my bank balance :rotfl:0 -
According to netmums and posters displayed in Post Offices (according to richard9991) benefits due on 27th will be paid on 24th, somebody else was reporting that DWP told them on the phone that Pension due on the 27th would be paid 23rd but it is all very confusing.0

I was hoping I'd get my tax credits payment today instead of tomorrow. I know it's on a day I usually get paid anyway, but as there will Probably be next to no food left on the supermarket shelves tomorrow it would have made more sense to pay a day early.
I'm a full time carer for my disabled child as well, so it's going to be difficult finding someone to look after him on Xmas Eve, while I go to the shops.0 -
No tax credits today, so hopefully they will still be paid tomorrowThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Payments for 27th must go in on the 27th as I have just checked and there isn't anything in my account it's so annoying with so many websites saying so meny different things this one is just as bad. I wish the people who didn't know just shut up and said nothing instead of trying to be know it all and give out wrong information.0
