Have found 5p in a pocket this morning so that's a start for today, my oh has gone to collect my Mum to bring her here for 5 weeks so I think I may have a tidy up (his bedside drawer) - shush!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

AlwaysHappy, Please see my note to gingermomma above. Sadly, things aren't always how they appear re the 'mass' of members we have. Many join up and that's the last we see of them! Of course a lot no longer need to visit MSE, which is a great sign, I just wish they'd tell me on their way out. :(

Very well done, Lynne! A lot of hard work and cash, but if you can pass - brilliant!!! All best wishes for your results being very favourable. :D

Well done, Emily!! See, you're on your way up again. ;)

Ah...I'm seeing what you mean now, 32b3, ah well enjoy it.

well good morning all. I spent the last hour or so elbow deep in flour glue and paper. Seems the last time I actually made anything out of papier mache I was six and at school. Forgot how messy it is! And turns out you truly can get more paper fused to your hands than actually on the balloon! I had the idea to make a christmas style bauble pot, at the moment it looks like an overfed slug..... but hey I'm keeping positive, it will improve upon drying.....

£1 stashed in my holding pot waiting to be fed in the slug when its ready

Oh dear, Sams, I don't mean to laugh, but it was just how you described your masterpiece as an overfed slug. :rotfl: At least I've had a laugh about it...sorry :( Onward and.......! Stay positive indeed, after all, does it really matter what it looks like as long as it does the job?
:rudolf: Enjoy a wonderful weekend, folks, keep up the saving where possible. :xmassmile

Well, hubby's drawer was empty - he must have got a thought of what I was planning....... I did find £1 on the kitchen shelf (finders keepers). I love the sound of it going into the tin, though don't want to open it until FULL, so that needs to be the aim for the end of the year!!
