I would have been able to pot £3 but my boyfriend spent it on sweets so he still owes me £3 as I paid for his dinner yesterday.

This weeks been awful. My parents made me choose between my family or him. I chose no one and my mum decided that I chose him so they hate me. :(

    Aww hun have a <<hug>> that's horrid.

Me too, Emily, when they say it's for XXX point something my DH always says "we'd be happy with the point something wouldn't we!" True too and I bet the majority of us would.

What course are you doing then, Lynne?

That's a nifty move, mummytummy, until they realise and dispose of it themselves. ;)

Morning skilly, I hope it's a good one for you.

oooooh trampolining takes me back a while, Vicky, I used to LOVE that.

Decided last night that I will also join the £1 a day challenge for 2014 & also thinking of setting up a pot for any spare housekeeping monies as we are planning a trip to Miami next year - so this would really help to boost spends! - not gonna tell hubby tho - then hopefully it will be a pleasant surprise:beer:

My god you are all so right this is really addictive!!:T

Happy weekend everyone - keep well and safe

busy one for me work Xmas dinner and a wedding:)

Well challenges certainly bring out the saver in people, Meowhouse, you can still include the spare housekeeping monies in SPC if you wish even though it's in a separate pot. You're going to be mighty busy this weekend.

It's lovely that they want to help with the Christmas tree, nanof3girls, we still have 2 out of our 5 who love doing it; so does the eldest girl, but her fianc! takes up the time now! ;)

Keep an eye on your BF, LeopardPrintsAndTea! Your Mum making you choose is ridiculous, she should know better that that's more likely to push you away than anything! Stand your ground as you know him better than anyone.

Another nice bit, purple angel. :)

Not that I'm giving that more advertisement space, sort_me_own_yard_out, but someone may be helped by it. ;)

Uh oh, trouble will soon be lurking as LC 2 returns from Poland today! I bet she's caused mayhem somewhere!

Have a great day, folks, and a really wonderful day.

Definitely wait until you can pot it - do you have a little dish you can use as a 'holding pot' until your magnificant creations are ready? And will we see them when they're finished? :D

I waited, it went back in the drawer, this time in an envelope so I wasnt tempted, although I confess that it less to do with being virtuous and more to do with the discovery that there were two chocolate finger biscuits left in the packet and that sorted the chocolate crave monster :)

Put it back in the drawer, sams247!! :naughty: Whatever's the matter with you, it'll last a lot longer in your pot than it will in your mouth! ;) See, hadn't thought of it like that had you! Aside from that, put any cash in a 'holding pot' until the weekend then transfer it. Have you not read the 1st post??

Yes, read the first post....... but chocolate! I mean, chocolate! (its back in the drawer............)

Sorry to hear this LPT, its difficult to be put in such a position. My DD was in what we felt (knew) to be abad relationship once and it was very hard to stand by and watch her be hurt, but she had to take that journey herself, she wouldnt have listened to me anyway. I am not supporting your Mum, but sometimes Mums think they know best, sometimes they are right, sometimes they are wrong. All you can do is live your life your way and see what happens. Best of luck.

Back to savings - in my determination to really kick into saving and paying bills I have now joined the 50p savers club, am back on the sealed challenge, have joined in the virtual sealed challenge and am about to join the £1 a day challenge. Logically I have worked out that if I am really good at all my challenges I will never have any money in my purse to actually spend! Which can only be a good thing, right? Except those darned people at home expect to be fed.......

You are such a great mum mummytummy, teaching your boy what happens if he doesn't keep a check on his money. I'm sure it will be a great lesson to him.... that you can teach over and over until he gets it right! :rotfl::rotfl:

I have a good few coins to pop in the pot tonight. Money will be a little tight until Christmas...... May have to break into some of my other savings cause we're going to see a puppy tomorrow :D:D:D

Sorry you all unwell and hope you soon better. I'd use the excuse to make a hot toddy for bed if it was me

So very kind, do you think I could drink it through a straw while lying in bed. Or even better you could come and make it for me.:D

Feeling worse today,_pale_ have had to break into my holding pot to buy kids a McD's I'm in no fit state to cook and am currently snuggled in bed with the cat and a box of tissues. :(

On the plus side just looked at my fleabay auctions that are ending tonight, all items added together will be £60ish, not bad for last years party dresses I was going to take to the charity shop.:T

Atchoo, well happy potting to you all, I may get out of bed on Sunday. x
