Evening

£2.81 potted for me today. I got 2 new tyres for my car. Hopefully I won't need to spend any money on the car until the end of May 2014 now. Not that I spend much on it, this is the first time I have ever bought tyres.

I save £2 coins in a sealed tin & change in another can I use both they are both savings,
I've also joined the weekly savings challenge don't know if I'll manage that one but will try xx

Potted £1.51 today.
Off to bed now as I've got my 9 month old Grandson tomorrow for the day.
Going to be doing lots of free things with him such as the park, library and go round the town and Parish church to show him the Christmas lights.
Back to mine then for some good home made food and a nap.

I got a big box of FREE shortbread from the coop today with the shop save scan app. Very happy about that, in to the Christmas cupboard it went! :rudolf: Although the woman and the manager made me feel like a complete numpty as they made such a big fuss about doing it!! Embarrassed much!! :eek: Still it was free so I grinned and bared it!!

Also went to icy along with other shops today and saved 20p on their bread offer so potted that. Then had to go out to the shops again as DD has terrible toothache and we had run out of calpol. Feeling like such a terrible mum. Booked a dentist appointment yesterday, but couldn't get one until Monday. Poor little mite....

will not pot anything more unless its roadkill this week as is my sons 1st birthday on saturday
the wifes gone a bit mad with the presents bless them lol

Potted another £6.20 tonight after a Christmas Party at the local Carvery....am completely stuffed after TWO (yes two ) Prawn Cocktails (one was going spare)...and then the Carvery itself...and then Strudel....soooo I'll be going to bed well and truly full!!

Some silver thrown into DD's charity box.....I think I may be the only one feeding it though as she's working her little cotton socks off and hasn't been in the house much for the last week

And shiny £2 and £1 coins potted......think I may ask santa for a terramundi pot and a steel ruler :xmassmile

Some good savings, mossy. Your poor lass has a long time to wait, thank goodness it happened before they closed at Christmas. I know they have emergency Nos, but it seems a long time til Monday.
