For the last few days, amongst all the clutter, there has been a £20 note and 3 £1 coins sitting on the kitchen bench, and I am not sure where they have come from
.I don't want to ask OH about it,cos I'm relying on him having put it down and forgotten all about it
Tonight I potted the 3 £1 coins. If he has still forgotten about it in another few days time I might pot the £20 for him :rotfl:
I also potted the another £2.29: coins I have found here and there around the house.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

My relationship with my ex/now boyfriend again is going really good but my relationship with my parents has gone really bad - even before they sussed that I was with him again... So i just feel awful again. I've lost my sister,my friends and my parents in the process.
So now my home doesn't feel like a home it feels like i'm in a prison -
my mum is constatly questioning me, looking over my shoulders, my sister is not talking to me and treating me like rubbish and my friends say i've betrayed them by not telling them i'm with him and that I have changed when i saw them today whilst i was with him but in actual fact i was angry with my sister and shouting because i couldn't get a word in on the phone to her and apparently i was "showing off" because i was with him. So today has been awful. along with every other day so far. Sorry - rant over. I'm just struggling again
I found 3p in my room so that's been potted.
I'm doing what i can to save money to eventually afford a flat at least in the next few years
Aww bless you, we love you if that helps?
Sue's right, it's your life to live your way so long as that doesn't hurt anyone
Potted £2.65 today, and should get some more later when I go out for fish & chips and the work panto with the teamThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hugs to all in need. Hope that things calm down for you Leopard.
I got a bit excited this morning as thought I had found my first ever road kill. Alas, it was not a 20p but a bit of silver foil.
I have to go for "networking lunch" today after a meeting (you know when everyone else is all "oh what a great idea" so you feel stuck with it?!) so at least I will have some change from that to pot later.Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

It's always good to see you however much you pot, elizabunny, at least we know you're 'with us' so to speak.
...you too, glassy! Come and see us now and again....please.
Lets drop it now please, Lynne, it's all forgotten about as far as I'm concerned. Well done with the £1.
Good to see you, Lost.Saver-upper wrote: »For the last few days, amongst all the clutter, there has been a £20 note and 3 £1 coins sitting on the kitchen bench, and I am not sure where they have come from.I don't want to ask OH about it,cos I'm relying on him having put it down and forgotten all about it

Play it safe, Saver-upper, you know him better than anyone, butwhy not put it in a 'holding pot/purse' in case he seriously wants it back! Play it safe.Deleted_User wrote: »Morning

Thanks so much for letting us know, Purplemumof2, it's always better to know folk are still wanting to be with us. Beware that Nos are to change soon though.
Enjoy your fish & chips, Rosy, the change too!
Never mind about the mistaken 20p, EchoDelta, I think it's happened to most of us. Better luck next time.

As my pots are not going to be finished till the weekend I am wondering if the loose change I found in my drawer at work should, instead, be spent on a Twirl bar? Or maybe I should just put it back in the draer until pot is ready? Oh the agony of decisions!

Had to take out £10 for car parking yesterday (£1.50) so I've potted £2. Keeping the rest for nursery lunches on Mon/Wed then whatever change is left will be potted
ETA: I have £11.44 sitting in TCB, would it be cheating to withdraw this and pop it in my pot?0
