  • Afternoon Peeps,

    Sorry its been a while!

My dad organised a trip to the ROH for DD for her birthday. I'd saved some money to take up there but was only allowed to pay for our train fares, so notes went into the holiday pot and coins went into the xmas pot :D

    Nothing since then though :(

    Hope everyone's well

    Hello everyone :D...

Done some of my jobs for today, so getting here quickly :j. Done some shopping, made an old woman laugh and smile. By commenting on how, the spirit of Christmas (that's sarcasm by the way), comes out in others. Also got my bakers yeast and a few cartons of UHT milk, because we all now what happens near Christmas with people buying milk and bread  :rotfl: .
Also put the new part on the car, and fixed it again ;). I love that car *coughs loudly and smiles sarcastically*. I suppose at least we have one, and can get the our family to and from work, school and places to run wild and have fun :D.

Right I'd better go and do some more deeds of darkness now :rotfl: :A :rotfl:.

    Happy Potting everyone

I sincerely hope you did not mean the first part, Vicky!

Please everyone, could we have absolutely no inference and certainly no actions of taking money from children! It is not right and will not be tolerated on SPC. That is not what SPC's about and is totally wrong.

Oooh, don't worry, of course I didn't! I value my job more than that! :) However, the 2p was found on the playground by me whilst I was on duty. :D

Just found a shiny 50 p whilst cleaning out the car. Total surprise and delighted. Into the pot it goes.

Although it probably doesn't compensate for the £85 I just spent online woops, haha.

Well, here I am back at last. I have been away, been BR so smashed all pots and paid what i could with what I had, been building m,yself back up little by little and now ready to face 2014 with a 'can-do' attitude. I have a lot of pent up aggression by the time pre-christmas comes....... well, not really but I do so enjoy smashing the pots! I shall have two on the go this year, one for general saving (pay off a bill, pay off anything owed etc) and one for something nice saving (a guilt free spend fest, even if it is only £20....)

So, my little pots are under way (making them) and I hope to be able to report good tidings by next week

That'll be quite an amazing trip for your DD, Happybeingme, good of your Dad, bless him. When do they go?

Good on you, nu1isit? Pleased to hear the car's sorted for now, and what a relief eh! Still, as you also say, there are a lot of folk without one at all, though having said that I think you're like us - and got no choice! Stll would sooner be in the country.

Good to hear about the shrapnel, keza, keep it going, where possible.

Ok, Vicky, though I'd be grateful if you didn't hint towards it in the future, please. It's fine if you pick it up from there - or from a kiddie's park, but it did sound as though you'd prized out of the hand!

Oh well, it sort of brings your online spends down to £79.50, ALM, though what a shame it wasn't tother way about. ;)

An NSD for me too, nanto3girls, but at least we've both been productive.

Aha! I see what you mean now, sams247, I thought you meant you'd smashed Terramundi pots, but it sounds more like paper mach!. :D Good to have you back and saving with us.
Have a lovely, folks, keep warm.

We went last Tuesday evening (3rd Dec) so it was on her actual birthday. We saw Romeo and Juliet which was absolutely fantastic. I'd set some money aside for the trip up there but dad insisted on paying for everything other than our train fare ~ thats how I managed to put some notes in the holiday tin! :)

I'm with you now, Happybeingme, I read it twice and couldn't make sure with it was a past or present. Well, I spose it was both...a present, but in the past! It sounded really splendid, glad you really enjoyed it.
