Hi everyone,
Hope all of you are doing good.
Thanks for keeping up the thread Sue. Will look forward for my new number.
Potted £6 today ( lunch money because I carried lunch from home today) need to do this more often.
I always have budgeted £25 every week for my lunches or drinks when at work.
From now on I will see how many lunches I can carry from home and pot any leftover money on Friday.:ASaving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0 -

I've had ever such a busy few days. I bought my wedding dress on Saturday and also went to collect a headpiece I won comping on here. Today I had a job interview and I've been working hard on my OU work as I have an assignment due in 9 days, which I haven't even started on yet!!!!
Sounds seriously busy df - assignments rush towards us at an Olympic record speed when we're busy don't they. Good luck with itSue - in relation to new numbers, could you not start a new sequence? Like 14001, 14002 etc seeing as this for 2014. Then there wouldn't be a chance of people crossing numbers? X
That's a brilliant idea - would save a lot of potential problems and workEvening all :hello:

Oh, go on, bladerunner, make it this next time around, it would be marvellous to know and you know you'd love to.32b3in2013 wrote: »Potted £4.51 today. Money seems to be slipping through my fingers this week though
Ho hum, 2014 will be here soon.
32b3
Compare to many of us, 32b3, you really are doing well so be happy with it.If I could be bothered I would get up off the sofa and pot up some loose change....but I've worked nine days on the trot and I seem to stuck herePromise I won't spend it and will chuck it in later!
Oh all right then, Piquant, actually 9 days is a long time working. You go steady and look forward to Christmas for a break.
A nice sum, hummingbird.
I sincerely hope you did not mean the first part, Vicky!
Please everyone, could we have absolutely no inference and certainly no actions of taking money from children! It is not right and will not be tolerated on SPC. That is not what SPC's about and is totally wrong.
Very well done in refraining from the coffee, Vicky. That is good saving and staying disciplined.
5p is good, nu1isit?, and keep going strong.
That's the only way to view it, mumof3plusoh, pick it up and pot it! :j
Well done, Buffy, thanks a lot, and thanks for your kind words in the reply, much appreciated.
I'm in total agreement with the lunches, Loveactually, you can do it. Look at the amount you could save!
You're doing so well, purple angel, excellent.
Thanks so much for your kind thoughts, elizabunny, and for the star, but on trying to put it on I have a message saying I've exceeded the characters allowed on my signature. So, to be fair I've now taken all of them off, it's only fair. Not to worry, I'm far happier seeing your savings.

I'd like to join please
I thought I'd joined last year but must not have gotten round to it as a search didn't bring my name up in the list. I haven't decided what I'd like to save for, just to have savings I suppose! I'm going to have different pots for different savings this year, so this one will probably just be small change and roadkill! Since I started looking last month I've collected nearly £4 in coppers and silvers

A very warm welcome, gayleygoo. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving, posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
gayleygoo, please take note that although I've just given you a number all the numbers are to be changed around any time now due to many members no longer coming to MSE. A good sign, but a little difficult for me having numbers with no owners.
By the way, you've made a marvellous start - keep it up!
