It's a good feeling isn't it jakes-mum,when all the Christmas shopping is done.I thought mine was all done last week, but went into town this morning, and saw a lovely a duvet set. It's perfect for eldest granddaughter and her partner, who have set up home together.
Then I went into Wilkinsons and bought 3 sets of Lynx for £10, also bought some wrapping paper, just because I liked it.I really went into town for my monthly stock up of meat, from the butchers. I only got 3 items of meat, cos I was carrying so much, will have to get the rest of it on Saturday.
Think I can say my Christmas shopping is definitely all done. Got 4 things left to wrap up for youngest granddaughter.0 -

There will be changes to Member Nos here on SPC any day now.
Due to a lot of members having not bothered to return to SPC over the last 2 or more years, I've decided that it's best to take them from the list which means you all will now have different numbers as a result. It will not be any great problem to you and will simply mean changing the number on your signature. Please bear with me while the changes take place. I will add that if anyone wishes to return, they're more than welcome to, but will need a new number.
Thank you all so much. I noticed you have been given stars before. PLEASE can I give you another star for all your hard work and encouragement. :staradmin :T:T:T:T
Though I understand what you mean, mumof3plusoh, I'm ok thanks. I've got sparky to help me too which is a Godsend. Many thanks for the star, accepted with gratitude.
Sounds as though you had quite a good time then, EchoDelta, a good sleep tonight too though eh!dinglefoot wrote: »Just popping by to say my OH potted 20p this evening. Not potting much, but I dare say things should improve by the other side of Christmas, fingers crossed. I doubt I'm the only one struggling this month!
I've had ever such a busy few days. I bought my wedding dress on Saturday and also went to collect a headpiece I won comping on here. Today I had a job interview and I've been working hard on my OU work as I have an assignment due in 9 days, which I haven't even started on yet!!!!
Oh dinglefoot, that's wonderful news about the dress, the headpiece too!!!Onward now with your OU course and good luck with the interview.

Nah, they're not like that at all, Lynne, that's one thing about our 'SPC family' tis a good and caring one, bless em. :A
It's always good to see your roses, skilly, you with them too of course!
Good to hear of your ambitions with saving, Meowhouse, all the best to you.
Well saved, BlueDaisy!
Thanks, purple angel, though I truly do enjoy it. Good for you with that savings.
13p is good, ALM, and in your case lucky!
oooh well done on that £5er, nanto3girls!crimson.addict wrote: »You don't have to put any of it in the pot if you don't want to / can't afford to. You could pot say 50p for every day you take your lunch in as a little well done to yourself. Since i rarely remember to take my lunch in i would pot £3 as that's roughly what it costs me every day.
Sue - Will we all just move up the tree depending on how many people have left in the numbers less than us? It shouldn't be difficult to do using Sparkys spread sheet(s).
Ruth, I think, claireyfairy was wanting to put her lunch money in her pot, at least that's the impression I got.
Re the new numbers: Not quite that easy (I wish) as it's the ones who've not been here over the last couple of years who need omitting and one or two of those have said they have yet to appear this time round. Til then I'm left holding the baby.
Great news about your Sister saving too! What a great influence you are.
Well, except when it comes to naughty thoughts about the kiddies cash!
Pleased to hear you've finished your shopping, jakes-mum, a brilliant job done.I wish I had.
Ere, you go steady, Jellybaby, you could have collapsed in a heap over that 50p! Still, it's best off in your pot!!
£10 in the pot after shopping this morning. :j
Ahh, that really is so sweet of your hubby, Habibiboo, bless him. :kisses3:
You mean he's taunting you with it, Mrs Cheshire! You ask ToniLiz what she'd do if it were her hubby.
Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. Sue - in relation to new numbers, could you not start a new sequence? Like 14001, 14002 etc seeing as this for 2014. Then there wouldn't be a chance of people crossing numbers? X:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:
