just emptied my purse of loose change then spotted a lonely 5p on top of the microwave and felt sorry for it so...it went in the pot to make friends with the others.

in the new year I am going to try and put £10 in my purse each week and at the end of the week empty my purse in to saving jars.

30p rescued from the floor at work (my work mates know what i am like so they know if it goes on the floor they will never see it again haha)
£2 from shopping change earlier
and around £5.60 for the Friday ritual of emptying my purse into the po (£5 notes downwards will go in) xxxx

Got mine too (cost me a £1 as were £3 in our C0-op) and my free selection box as well Staff didnt have a clue how to make it work when I went in so after 30 minutes that included a phone call to paypoint, they had to give up and ask me to come back later after they had rung head office!

Got em in the end though and DH has already eaten half the shortbread box :rotfl:

A lonely 1p in the pot, found when I went to the post office, parked outside and saw it sat by my back tyre :T love free money

Have become very addicted to hotukdeals at the minute, hence why I havent been on much, those dratted flamedeers have taken over my life! and clicking on all those deals is really hard on the resolve :rotfl::rotfl: Do I really need 2 large boxes of mixed chocolate fingers for £4? is it worth a trip to the supermarket?? :rotfl::rotfl:

Today I've managed to chuck about £10 of loose change in the whiskey jar. Don't normally put so much in but I only need to carry about £5 worth of change around with me at any given time. Even so, only the bottom of the jar is covered, it will take a long time to even get a quarter of the way up.
