potted £1.40 today, some change after going out with my mate for lunch. Been collecting for Marie Curie this morning for an hour and half. Was nice because it was in a shop and not out on the street freezing to death like I usually am.
Nearly there with the Christmas shopping now so pleased about that. Just got to wrap it all.:eek::eek:

Thanks so very much for the lovely welcome, mossy. Let's hope those antibiotics soon kick in and your DD can be free from pain and enjoy Christmas to the full. Have a lovely Christmas with the family. :grinheart
Very well done, Saver, a nice lot to pot.AlwaysHappy wrote: »Well, hubby's drawer was empty - he must have got a thought of what I was planning....... I did find £1 on the kitchen shelf (finders keepers). I love the sound of it going into the tin, though don't want to open it until FULL, so that needs to be the aim for the end of the year!!
Ooops, to many mentions of SPC perhaps, AlwaysHappy, maybe best to keep quiet about it in the hope he forgets. :shhh:
Good for you, nanto3girls. I've never heard of Dixon of Gock green.
Ah...you emerged then, 32b3, got cash in pot too, can't be bad.
Very good, EchoDelta.
It won't take long to turn the sound around, Eyebright, practice makes perfect.credit_crunch wrote: »I bought myself a shiny new tin while on a Christmas shopping day in Dublin!
Got some change to put in it - £3 odd so that's a good start :-)
You're definitely on your way, credit_crunch!! :j
Ooooh treat day then was it, Nikki. :happylove...and why not. SPC is very addictive, I'm glad you're finding it out. All the best with that £10er.Buffythedebtslayer wrote:Have potted various bits of change today plus two 50ps!
got a terrible headache but will try to post more often
All the best with that head, Buffy, hope you can sleep it off. Well done on having started your pot again.
That's your good deed done for the day, mumof3plusoh, a very worthy cause. Same here with the wrapping which can be a little daunting at times.:rudolf: Have a good night, potters, and a lovely Sunday. :xmassmile

I was in sealed pot challenge no. 6, but have nowhere near filled up my terramundi so am going to roll it over!
Not sure whether it's a quirk of the terramundi pot or whether something fishy is going on in my house but it feels bizarrely empty considering how much I think I have popped into it...Savings target: £25000/£25000

Pouring with rain here in Devon. Potted my daily £2 but I think there will be more potting than spending today - especially if the rain keeps upNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries: July stash 72/0 INS/2 UU/0 TA0

Potting away nicely, no roadkill (DGDs get there first!) Have decided to give up on the Lottery and save the £4 a week we'd been spending on it, that'll be another £208 in the pot. A lot more than we've won over the years!Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

Morning all, I'm back. Lots of posts!! But I've caught up and thanked every single one.
More newbies, welcome to you all and good luck with your savings.
New numbers soon, a few woes (hope all gets sorted), some great potting and even two starters for some.
Still no total from last year yet, but hopefully soon.
I potted £7.50 and hope to have a good potting week this week when picking up Xmas goodies and a couple of bits.

Hmmm... I think I would hide it mildredalien It sounds a bit dodgy to me.....
This thread is moving so fast that I can't seem to catch up. The days are flying past with not a minute to spare! I have been potting a few pence here and there but with all the charity boxes around at the moment my pennies seem to disappear into those instead. I do, however, have bids on two fleabay items which close this afternoon so, hopefully, I will have a bit of cash from those eventually.
Hope everyone is well and warm...I'm sure I can smell bread baking...could that be our rosyq ??:D What time do you want us all round?
Welcome to all the new potters, do enjoy the banter and keep saving! xSealed Pot Challenge #012

Morning all, sadly to say I spent a fortune yesterday on Xmas presents and having a general day out.
Although I paid for everything by cash and I didn't even take the credit card put with me. With all the change from the big notes I used, I got bloody LOADS of change. In the end I potted exactly £20 in change. Wow couldn't believe it.
I was smiling every time I heard the 'clunk'
