AlwaysHappy - apologies I didn't give you my best wishes in my earlier post - sorry. Thoughts with you and your family at this difficult time.

lynnejk - yes, quiet at that time of year, we we're there in November and quiet then, but decent weather. Cheap place to go out of season, like Albufeira, just fingers crossed for some sun. Little breaks are something to look forward to and as we can't tolerate extreme heat (even very warm), it suits us. UK summers (when we get them) are good enough.

Sorry for the waffle, hoping to pot a few £'s today, but not much.

Hello all. Been a while since I posted but have just got back from a lovely week in Disneyland Paris and surprisingly came home with €170. So will change it back up and give some do DH and will pot the rest.

Since my last post I have potted about £40. Pot nearly full :-))

Busy weekend for me. Daily £3 potted plus 14 X £2 coins & 5 X 50p into the (Change of venue) New York 2015 spending fund (I know! Our friends can't make next year so we've put it off until 2016)

Potted some odds and ends this morning and just about to venture out again. Mobile phone has finally given up on me (it is 5 years old and used a lot - so not complaining) so need to go purchase a new one

Gah, had to borrow €6 out of my pot today to get a taxi to a job interview.

They phoned me back after and I think I got it pending referral off my last boss (here's hoping).....

Its not a lot of money but its a start!

Swapped £5 coins for £5 note earlier as i needed change...Problem is my pot is see through so got to make sure OH doesn't decide it's fair game and grab it! lol will pot the rest of the change later x

Afternoon all.
Nice bright day, but the air is still on the cool side. Not a moan as it could be very much worse - unless you like snow of course.

Potted another £2 coin and 2 x 20p's = £2.40 potted and that's it for today.

Afternoon all. Just a quick post before I do the school run to say weekly £7 potted and a bit of change, didn't count it but only about 30p.

Thanks all for the best wishes. My Aunt is still with us but all hospital intervention has been withdrawn apart from morphine so that at least she is peaceful. I think it is only a matter of hours...... at least I hope so, if that doesn't sound too awful. She isn't alone which is a relief but its awful for the family to watch a loved one die.
Anyway, potting today -(must keep some semblance of normality going) - £3.80 for the pot.
