    Congratulations tatabubbly!! :D

    Happy Anniverysary Jakes-Mum!

I spotted a cheeky 5p in my purse so will go and pot that in a minute. Going to sort through the finances in a sec and see if I can pay off a bit more of the credit card. ;)

Updated: I managed to find an extra £95.65 to pay off the credit card....I'm gradually creeping my way to 40% :D

Hi everyone! I hope you've had a lovely day, even if part of it was wet. :( Stay safe and healthy. :D

I didn't get home early enough to run tonight so I am going to attempt to go before work tomorrow. Not sure how successful that will be, I am not a morning person really!!

Well done your DD, Lynn! She's obviously working hard to save and wants her lads to be the same, a great way to start!! You'll catch her up....maybe! :D

I hope you managed it ok, 32b3, apparently exercise done in the morning is better than any other time of day...not that I do! Afternoon is my time for exercise.

A very Happy Anniversary, jakes-mum!!! Mine is an anniversary cake, especially for you BOTH! :bdaycake: I hope you both celebrated in great style.

I have had a crappy day today, I lost a £10 note (after coming out of the doctors again - signed off work for another week :() so I had to count out the £13 odd pound of change I was going to pot with my poorly sore hands and walk home because of the lost money.

The walk home should have been a 20 minute but it took me 55 minutes - blooming eczema! On a plus though I did buy myself a fresh cream cake and it was blooming lovely with a nice cup of tea!

Oh well, tomorrow is another day! :)

Great potting everyone, you are all doing so well! Sending safe hugs to all who accept!

    Lucy xx

That's lovely of you to still think of others when feeling a bit miserable yourself, Lucy, well done on the positivity. I do hope your hand get a 'slightly improved' stage or, preferably, that you'll grow out of it. Here are some {{{Hugs}}} for you.

If you get several 43p days through the year, Helen, then yes, it will mount up!! ;)

Oh dear, Modesty, what a LOT of money spent for the wrong seats and not the best singing! I'm sure your DD & you got some pleasure with each other's company though. :D:D There's always a plus side!

An excellent find, LeaLea!!!! :j and good to see you.

Lovely to see you back in style too, 166million.

Good potting, Lynsey, have a wonderful time away.

Just popping my head round the door to say I am still quietly potting away. I mention it on my own diary as I pot. Didn't want to get struck off the list again haha :o

    gap :)

Oi, don't you be so cheeky, GAP......though it's good to see you popping in....and know you're still a member! :p :rotfl: Look after yourself.

I'm with Ruth, Pickle, pop it in a 'holding pot' til you can pop it in your SP.

I wondered where you were, shiningfaery, it's so good to see you back. Keep on saving and lets hope you're soon walking everywhere!

Evening all! Well, we had the news we had been fearing today and my Aunt has passed away, but having seen how poorly she was I feel quite at ease that she is finally at peace. Quality of life is so important - it certainly focuses your mind on what matters.
On a potting front 80p clunk clunk.

Aww ty all, you are all now firm members of my family :D We just spent the day pottering round at home, there was a half hearted talk of a meal out today but we didn't manage to move our backsides to go so it just passed quietly by :o BUT I did get a beautiful bouquet of flowers, made all the more special because he bought them from co-op and not inter-rip-you-off-flora :kisses3: he knows me so well :D

Hugs to you AlwaysHappy, though as you say when people are that poorly, its nice to see the suffering end :(

Oooo well done on your CC payment Mossy, your just steaming along :j :j

Will my mum said I could keep the £4 from DD's old duvet so that got chucked in the pot :D (think she felt bad because she forgot :rotfl:) plus I had 60p in shrapnel AND a £2 coin  so my pots were very well fed today :D:D

AlwaysHappy,I am sorry.I hope you are ok.

Aww,belated Happy Anniversary,JakesMum.I know what it is like-my family live 10,000 miles away.In the nearly 14 years I have lived in UK,I hardly get a birthday phonecall, and the only time any of my 4 kids has had a card or pressie from them is for my eldest's first Christmas,11years ago,and my son's 4th birthday(6 years ago)because they co-incided with visiting them at the time.We talk regularly on the phone, but nobody from home has ever bothered with mine/my kids' birthdays.

On the potting front,I have potted about £2.98 (when I counted it,I thought "No,I don't need to write that down to report later.I will remember". Well, guess what...... icon_rolleyes.gif).It was all coinage that I have found around the house over the last few weeks.(Found £1 of it today when folding up clothes on OH's side of the bed :rotfl:).

    Keep on potting,Potters

My thoughts are with you and yours at this time. I understand how difficult it is when someone is so poorly and you sound accepting of her passing. I know you will be a strength to your family. It certainly brings it home how fragile this existence.

Some good news :j tra - la - la :j I got my little job today so a few more pennies to add each week. I start Monday and will be paid monthly by cheque . I can't remember the last time I used a cheque :rotfl:

Potted my £1 and hope you all have a great Wednesday

Well it gives me the much needed exercise after having my boy 8 months ago and I am lucky enough that I live close enough to everything that if I cant walk to it I can get a bus. :D Silver linings and all that:rotfl:

After a shocking experience with Asda delivery I have decided to go and buy my food in store instead and take cash out rather than use my card so will have more change around to plonk in my box...:D
