Its been an emotional day today. I too Mum to see her sister in hospital and she seemed very poorly. Glad we went though as we have had a call tonight to say she has taken a turn for the worse and only has hours left. I am so glad I was here with Mum when she heard the news, and also that we were able to go today. A reminder to us all - seize the day!!
On a potting front £2.50 for me added to the pot.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -

Potted a bit yesterday, £5.19 and DD (age 3) found 15p on her bedroom floor and said I could have it for my pot
I know full well there's probably another few pounds hiding in her room somewhere, but there's no way I can scrabble round under her bed to find it at 7 months pregnant! So it will have to wait!

Hi my fellow potters,
I've had the flu for the last while so been MIA. Up and around now. :j see I'm doing jumping jacks, lol.
I have been potting the usual leftover lunch monies and lying around/abandoned pennies, but have no idea how much. I've started the grocery challenge as well so have moved to a monthly shopping budget so will pot the remains on the 31st.
I shall now attempt to catch up on all I've missed, hope your all well.:DJAN - £208.56/£250 NSD-8

Hugs to you AlwaysHappy
And hugs to all those who are/have been ill, we've had the fluey/sore throat go through all four of us, even Jake 'I dont catch anything' came home from cadets on wednesday and said 'mum I feel a bit sick', but everyone seems to be on the mend again.
DD's bedroom is looking reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good
she is very pleased, its still not finished as I just cannot be bothered to go and cut the new blind or finish the seat for her little seating area :rotfl:
Sales also going well on FB, just sold DD's old bedding for £4 (not sure if thats mums or mine though, can't remember who bought it ) but as the lady gave me 2 x £2 coins I put them in the pot and replaced with 4 x £1 coins until I speak to mum
have made mum a few quids from selling some of the younger games she had in her toy cupboard, she keeps laughing at me but those £1's all add up and its money she wouldnt have had if I hadn't have sold them
Also chucked a bit of scrapnel in the big pot aswell and after sticking a Q-tip in the top realised im over halfway full :j:jSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £2470.95/£1000 (19) £0/£10000
