    Hugs Nell, keep on fighting.

£2.13 potted last night. Have 3 x £2 coins in my purse that will be potted if I don't need to use them.

I've slipped up this month, I've missed out on the free wills service through procrastination. :o If it comes to your region get in quick.

Sue, had the scooter out last Saturday, she's a real head turner still got some work to do until she's truly finished, to go with the theme, we've decided her name is going to be "Liberty" we need more leg shield chrome to fit more mirrors onto & more lights!

I'm not a bit surprised given the cracking weather, sparky, and I know darn well that it's a head-turner! D'you reckon she#ll ever be finisihed?? You'll forever be thinking of something that can be introduced to her. A very fitting name for her too - LOVE IT!!!! :j Love to J, you too.

Keep potting while you can, Lynsey!

Ahh Sue, its just one of those things, they always say these things come in 3;s after all. Nearly gave Dh a heart attack as nonchalantly walked down the hall and said 'how would you feel if I spent £900 on a new washing machine?' bless him, he went so white I though someone had cut off his blood supply :rotfl: As I explained to him, a Miele is supposed to be the best machine out there and they have one with a 10 year warranty, so im thinking of trying to nurse our current one along until pot opening day then use pot money to buy said super duper machine :o DH still not convinced (more because he wont see any of the pennies me thinks ;)) but I can either spend £3- 400 on a rubbish one with 2 yrs warranty or £900 on one with 10 yrs . . . will work on him ;)

Flippin eck, jakes-mum, no wonder the poor chap went so white at that sort of price!!!!! Still, if you can afford it in November (yes, and you will be able to ;)) then with a 10 year guarantee you can't really go wrong.

You done any more walking lately, 32b3?If not why not??! ;)

I don't blame you rounding off the mortgage, mossy, and yes, it does make a difference! Go for it!

DH picked me up today from a small MS as it was persisting with rain and we drove down a road on the way back to town. On each side of the road is a wide, sloping, grassy bank and they are FULL of daffodils just coming out. I made my heart sing :)

It doesn't take much to make us happy eh, Lynne, especially bright yellow, so refreshing. Spring's in the air! :j

Oooooh you lucky thing, Saver-upper!!! :D Keep following him around the house, you never know where he'll drop some next!! ;) Well done with the loft decluttering, another job done.

Have you seen my PM, smiffy, it explains the gold star and signatures, at least I hope it does. :undecided

I am so very happy for you, AlwaysHappy! :j Some folk can be absolute wonders soI can well imagine how you're feeling right now. :D I s'pose the other lady might have had a good reason why she was unable to care for him. Whatever the reason, be happy that you're the way you are and try to let it go and look ahead. ;)

Hi Emily, good to see you again.

Hi to you also, skilly, and great saving!

What can I see re the £2ers, Nell. ;)

Thanks for the heads up, Modesty, though how d'you find out?

Have a good Friday, folks, and a wonderful weekend whatever you're doing!

    Hello everybody!
Have been away from the site for a while - but can I join in again?
Potting 0.98p tonight in change :-)

I will edit my sig shortly if I am accepted to the new challenge!

Hello mommy of 4, I am veggie too, and I like feeding the birds! At least it was only £30 for the tyre, you must have a smallish car like mine too!

Afternoon all, had a really busy day today, bought some reduced things in a$da today (or so I thought - car things mainly) - got home, and they had gone through at full price!!!! So, back to the bloomin store to get my refund. So annoyed with self, only bought a few bits so should have realised had been overcharged £12!!! but you know what its like, mind on other things........ I then had to ask if they still did the giftcard if you are overcharged, particularly bearing in mind I live at the other side of town - "oh yes I forgot", and gave me a £2 card -(it used to be £3), anyhoo, £1.20 for my pot (and I guess I still have the gift card), though it kind of made my day go to pot. Best laid plans eh?
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

    Welcome back 166million! :)

I love your username, because I am very [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] interested (and I want to make sure that you feel very welcome! ;)) can I ask the reasons behind your username? Please know that their is no pressure!!!

Sue will be along soon to allocate your number, perhaps in the meantime you can read though the first post as it offers a wealth of information. Well done on your £0.98, I hope this will continue you for you!

    Lucy x

I am sorry that I have been MIA, lots of health issues and adjustments in medication - one visit to my gp cost me £32.58 (thank goodness for the holding pot!) although £1.18 was spent on two cartons of Ribena, they were so good!

Anyway back to potting news - I changed up my tin earlier in the month and have got around £50, I cant believe it is that much! I think that if I continue like this perhaps I will also be able to pay off my DMP a month early!

    Happy potting everyone!
