#316 checking in to let you know I'm still saving! The pot is very heavy now!
Nell, I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope everything works out ok x# 072 'Save 12K in 2015' - £345 / £3000

Hi everyone, I hope it's a good day for all. Just do keep safe!!
See Rosy, forced to admit it.......I love J2O, though prefer the orange & mango. Well done on the saving at the hairdressers, who doesn't want to be grey anyway; grow old gracefully....a ruddy sight cheaper!
Thanks for the sorting out the "Ben" bit of 32b3's post, jakes-mum, talk about puzzling! So sorry to hear about your problems, I hope it's not as bad as it seems.
It's ok, blubella, there's no need to put your No on your post each time as we can see it on your signature, but thanks anyway.
Good to hear, Tiggyw00. :jLynsey wrote:Sue - hope you and others managed to grab those £10 vouchers, they last for a long time and maybe some Xmas pressies with it?
Another star just for that? Thanks, hope you're not getting soft.
Definitely worthy of another star for that, Lynsey, it's most likely been really beneficial to a lot of us for which I'm grateful. Me going soft??? You wouldn't think so to hear my DH talk!
Oooooh dear, diddly, still, not to worry as this month will soon be over. We all get expensive ones, sadly.
Any chance of anyone else looking after your Son, AlwaysHappy? I do hope so.Ihead wrote:Not potted anything for a while, in fact I've had to take some out to pay for car parking and a few other bits I needed change for to save taking out £10 from the bank account
So complete fail here!
My pot has gone from 1/5 th full to 1/6th full
Time to get my bum in gear and get potting!
Try using a "holding pot" for things such as parking, Ihead. Have a look on post 1 of page 1 to see what it's about. BTW, you've not failed, just had a blip, time now to move on.Hi All. Sorry not been on here for a while. Laptop played up so had to go and be mended.
Sue UU - thankyou for your thoughts. Unfortunately, there is now a query about the good boob, so am awaiting a mammogram and ultrasound on it. However, in the meantime am keeping chin well and truly up
I have been potting small amounts on a daily basis and trying to pot any £2 coins that I get. And....I've lost pounds! Not the sterling kind but the bloomin steroid inducing weight kind. Have lost a whole stone since last weighed at the hospital in December. So continuing with the healthy stuff and the walking, and am aiming to start back swimming in 6 weeks when healed properly from radiotherapy
I'm really sorry to read that, Nell, but will remain, as you do, ever hopeful of good results. Meanwhile, as you say, chin up and stay positive - no good doing differently. I'm not surprised at your weight loss as you've been through a heck of a time for a good long while. I've many thoughts about you, Nell, giving you huge {{{hugs}}} too.Enjoy a good Thursday, SPCers, and keep budgeting and saving hopefully!

Nell - best wishes, but I love your fighting spirit.
Potted £6.90 including 3 lovely £2 coins. This is becoming a great potting week for myself and could possibly be the best one of the year.

Helloooooooooooooo potters
Oooo Nells, hugs to you xx
Ahh Sue, its just one of those things, they always say these things come in 3;s after all. Nearly gave Dh a heart attack as nonchalantly walked down the hall and said 'how would you feel if I spent £900 on a new washing machine?' bless him, he went so white I though someone had cut off his blood supply :rotfl: As I explained to him, a Miele is supposed to be the best machine out there and they have one with a 10 year warranty, so im thinking of trying to nurse our current one along until pot opening day then use pot money to buy said super duper machineDH still not convinced (more because he wont see any of the pennies me thinks
) but I can either spend £3- 400 on a rubbish one with 2 yrs warranty or £900 on one with 10 yrs . . . will work on him

Feeling super tired so going to bed in a minute...hashtag lightweight!!
Someone at work gave me a pound they owed me so potting that and a 20p that was kicking around in my purse.Paid my extra £11 off the mortgage today...always makes me happy.
(It's £789 a month so I round it up to £800
) I know it's only little but it all adds up. Some of DH's invoices are due to be paid in the next few days so looking forward to paying a little extra off the credit card too.
