Those of you looking for cheaper breaks, have you considered booking a holiday with the sun holidays, or your local paper? I have a link if you want. It's cost us £60 for Monday to Friday, for up to 4 people including service charges and entertainment passes.

Afternoon all. Just wrote a post and lost it.
Anyway, Luckily DH will not spend change, so as long as I don't cash it in we will be ok, It's taking him a lot to use notes instead of the card so he always has a pocket of change.
Just potted £1.26 but he has just gone shopping so might be a bit more later.
Will go and update my sig with my numberLBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Afternoon all, hope all are well.
Sue - hopefully I've just messed up a few 20p's!!
Potted £6.80 today and another £2 coin (they really do help).
That's it for the week and a little in the "holding pot" for next week - a definite £30+ week.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, weather picking up after an iffy start.

Hi everyone
Not potted for a while, not had any spare cash to pot with and none left lurking around the house
But... When I did my shopping today, I withdrew cash to pay and put £2 in my jar and then explained it to myself as part of my shopping budget! then I stopped feeling guilty that I wouldn't make my £100 come November
I'm really impressed with how well everyone else is doing though :T:T:T0 -
I was disappointed to only have 80p to pot today, but then again its all money that I wouldn't have saved last year. "if" I "only" saved 80p EACH day for the year, that would be ..... well, more than my tired brain can work out and I can't be bothered to get a calculator, but you get the drift - wow!!!
Cant believe we are all still doing so well, all these weeks into the year, lets hope this is a habit now as we have been doing it for a while.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -
Got my tips from work today

Well done and better than potting as it's saving on interest I'd imagine.
I love your sig though and read it many times. Hope others do the same.
Forgot to add, but £1 of today's savings was road-kill - thanks to Sainsbury's car park - we just managed to park in the right place at the right time. lol
Had some luck today on ebay. Bought an integrated fridge (brand new) for £26. I did enter around £70 and thought I'd lose out, but few bidders.
Also received a £10 Asda gift-card for some unnecessary hassle.
Almost free pub food also with e-vouchers (Mitchell and Butlers) - sign up to their local pubs in your area for nice surprises. They forgot to charge for the drinks also. lol
Some days you just don't want to end. :money:
