    Afternoon everyone
Great weekend in Prague, fantastic city & great weather.

We then had the emotional roller coaster of the vet finding a tumour in our dogs throat. She had to have a biopsy, luckily the results came back today & the tumour is benign, so she's being treated with steroids to try to reduce the growth.

I hope your dog is ok.

    41p potted today.

    Evening all! :D

Good news about your dog Sparky. :)

No potting I'm afraid. We had 'the call' yesterday  and Ofsted have been in today and are in tomorrow! It went well today and hopefully tomorrow will be more of the same. :) In some ways things aren't different to what we normally do (that is after all, the whole point). It's just that you feel on high alert the whole time!!

I think my brain is completely fried!! Early night tonight!

Not a lot for me today, but 85p to the pot is better than nothing. Sounds like everyone is making good progress.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Well,I have had a very stressful day-couple of days infact.Feel just about ready to run away from home .
Anyway, just to top off a couple of rubbish days,I drove to school to collect kids this afternoon, got out of the car,was carrying afew permission slips, notes for teachers,my phone etc.As I was walking,I suddenly realised I had lost the £20 note I had been carrrying .I walked back to the car, looking all over the place for it,criss-crossing the road, looking over fences, down side-roads,etc.
Had to collect kids from school, then had arranged to meet a friend at the park.We went to the park for about an hour-I wasn't very good company:so cross with myself, bad couple of days anyway....
The kids and I walked home again.I had told them to keep their eyes out for the £20 note(yeah, right:like that was still going to be lying around....)
We got to the front door, went to unlock the door, then decided to cross the road just incase the £20 had blown away while I was getting into the car.Crossed the road, looked up and down the rd abit.As I was crossing the road to come back to the house,I only found the cheeky @#=&4£ lying under a car parked outside my house ,by now nearly 2 hours after I must have dropped it .
I think the only way to stop the cheeky piece of work escaping again is to pot it,don't you think?

I, too, would love some chooks lynne but I would never be able to eat them (only the eggs) and they would get to live to a ripe old age in peace!
Yes I'd eat the eggs but I was brought up with rabbits, chickens etc and they all finished up in the pot eventually so bit heartless I suppose. Bit like going all gooey over lambs and calves and refusing a roast dinner ?? complicated I know :)

Think I'd make sure the next one is firmly wedged at the bottom of my pocket as well ! Sooo glad you found it though :j

Potted my Wednesday pound and spent about 3 hours in the sunshine clearing up the balcony and getting it ready to paint the walls if the weather holds for the weekend. Bliss :T

Hi all, sorry I havn't posted since the 4th I've been superrrrrrr busy at home and work. Trying to find a nice place to go camping this year in August for our family holiday but can't find the right site. We're looking at Yorkshire as there are lots of places to go and see but it's rather expensive, anyways onwards and upwards as they say, I have been slowly potting change and a few notes that have gone unspent from the weekly cash. My new total for 350 - £350.00 - lol :j:j
    The 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
Not been around too much, ended up in hospital 3 days after my last post (on 11/1) for over 2 weeks then stayed with my mum for 3 weeks. So January and February are a blurr due to high dose pain meds making me like a zombie.
I've not done any potting in that time but due to not being able to go to any of the sales and not buying my usual MSE 'bargains' that I don't really need I've got £1000 left in my bank account :D so I've put £600 into my savings account and that leaves enough for bills etc for the remainder of the month.
My next goal is to build up my energy and get back to selling on facebook so I'm ready for Xmas.
