I potted a £10 note from a facebook sale. These sales are very few and far between, but when they happen,it is very satisfying :j.
(The sale was actually only for £8,but the girl only had a £10.Of course,my sealed pot doesn't give change,so got the change from my OH :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).Sounds like a win win win situation!

Potted a huge (for me!) €7! Getting closer to that €200 target! :D

In the spirit of MSE, instead of getting another pot, I emptied the one I had and hid all my change on top of the kitchen cupboards.. So now, I've a nice empty pot to fill up once more!

    Good morning everyone
Some great potting going on & welcome to our newest members, enjoy saving but be careful it gets very addictive.

The dog is much better now thanks everyone, she has to go back to the vets for another check up before she gets the all clear, they want to take a sample from her lymph nodes just to make sure, so that'll be another £700 the insurance is going to pay!

Back on topic now, £28.50 into the Canada 2015 spending pot. Daily £3 potted, also 28p road change into the scooter MoT, tax & fuel pot which has 15 days to go before being opened.

Have a great Sunday everyone, stay safe & keep saving

£3.50 for me today which felt fantastic as it all went plopping into the tin. Although it feels heavy, when I look in it only seems about half way up (perhaps more), I'm impatient and want it FULL to the top. I imagine then putting it to the back of the shelf and moving on to my next one...... reminder to self, look how far you've come and don't run before you can walk. Happy potting Sunday everyone.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • 3 shiny two pound coins potted for me today so my pots up to £142 it's actually starting to feel a little bit heavy. Hope everyone is ok and this sunshine continues for a long time to come xxx:j

    I've been Money Tipped!
Evening all, hope you all had a great weekend.

I started the week well with £10.40 potted (including another £2 coin).

Some great potting going on and eases the pressure off Xmas (if that's you aim). Those saving for other stuff (holidays etc) will also feel the benefit.

    Hi everyone,

Have been MIA thanks to a bout of depression. Didn't realise I was poorly and have been running and running for the last few months. Self medicating with nights out, new clothes, drinking etc.

BUT feeling much better now thanks to lovely doctor etc and, getting to the point at last, am getting back to the money thing. I potted about £3 in shrapnel today. Pleased to feel a bit more in control again.

Right, now to catch up with everyone's news.

Found it lying around in *my* bedroom at my parents' house. Therefore it's mine. :D Actually, it is mine as my parents only keep it for me. Bless them. :D
