Afternoon everyone, I hope you all enjoyed a beautiful weekend...

    .....though maybe not, Lynne. :(

All the best with the stairlift, jakes-mum, and great going with the £2 find!

Wow! Three crisp tenners saved he, mrsdalloway, great savings!!! :T

Oh dear, Lynne, and sadly there's more of the white stuff forecast for you this week!

Thanks a lot for letting folk know about the holiday offer, honey10, you've now got a gold star for that. :staradmin

Sue - hopefully I've just messed up a few 20p's!!

Hopefully so, Lynsey, but whatever, I'm sire you'll make it up just in case - even if it means shaking DH upside down every day when he comes home rather than your normal greeting! :rotfl: BTW, GREAT news on the integrated fridge for £26...and £10 Asda gift-card!!! Can you do my shopping too from now on?! ;)

You too are doing well, Pickle, keep up the budgeting with a difference and you'll do well. :rotfl:

I was disappointed to only have 80p to pot today, but then again its all money that I wouldn't have saved last year. "if" I "only" saved 80p EACH day for the year, that would be ..... well, more than my tired brain can work out and I can't be bothered to get a calculator, but you get the drift - wow!!!
Cant believe we are all still doing so well, all these weeks into the year, lets hope this is a habit now as we have been doing it for a while.

You said it all, Alwayshappy, what a difference it makes over a year. By my reckoning your savings based on 80p a day would be a massive £292!!! Go for it and be happy, happy, HAPPY!!! :D

    Excellent potting, WishICouldFindMySlippers.

No potting but I've just paid another £20 off the c/card. :)

Lovely work, mossy,I bet you're chuffed to bits with that. :D

    Great work for both, ETO!

I potted a £10 note from a facebook sale. These sales are very few and far between, but when they happen,it is very satisfying :j.
(The sale was actually only for £8,but the girl only had a £10.Of course,my sealed pot doesn't give change,so got the change from my OH :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).Sounds like a win win win situation!

Nice work with your sales, Saver-upper, definitely a win win in getting the change from your OH. :D

Keep up the terrific work, tatabubbly!!

Great saving, sparky! All the best with your little jack - what a cost eh!! Have you taken the scooter out for a spin over the lovely weekend?

It's so good to see you back, EchoDelta, and to hear that you're now feeling a whole lot better. Depression is an awful thing and does indeed suddenly hit you out of the blue even though you may have suffered from it for a while. Take great care of yourself and here are some {hugs}}.

Very well done, Vicky!! Definitely yours! :j

All the best in finding your pot just as soon as possible, SpiralingDown. It has to be somewhere with you and you'll come across it soon enough. All the best with the IV too.

Happy St Patrick's Day to you also, Lynsey, everyone else as well.

La Fheile Padraig Sona Duit to you 'n all, tatabubbly. :undecided

Ah, there you are, Helen, good to see you're still saving well.

I had 3 numbers on the Lottery on Saturday and won £25!! :j I thought it was £20 for 3 numbers...anyone else know??

Have a good day, savers, and keep up the great saving! :grinheart

Sue-UU - I won £25 a couple of weeks ago with 3 numbers - assume its since the price hike? Well done on the win.
35p so far for the pot today, 20p of which was road kill, well supermarket aisle kill if truth be known - I've never moved so fast....
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • Haven't potted for ages, but managed to pot some change from the weekend including 3 pound coins. My pot is still quite light, but I keep telling myself every little helps!!!

I was out and about this weekend and managed to get 2 x £2 coins so into the pot they went. I had a DH raid of £1.50 and potted that too. Spent yesterday afternoon cleaning out the car and was disappointed to find only 6p to add to the pot. Still, its better than nothing!! Hoping for a quiet couple of days, so little to pot I guess..
